Correct. It won't be long before some foreign drunken guy is going to be kicked to death for saying or doing something fairly trivial against a local. They were using that guys head as a football.

This was well deserved... But let's face it Thai's will look for the smallest excuse to give a foreigner a good hiding... We're generally not liked and only tolerated...

Think again...

Perhaps you should move alone... Antarctica might be nice for 25 years.

What about the cowardly attack of two foreigners on the Thai woman?

Where you there, do you know exactly what happened, did both slap her, it's not clear, if you were there then tell us what took place.

We know what happened.

the two foreigners attacked the thai woman.
and the foreigners were taught some manners.

A lesson in violence they will never forget.

It is surprising that some on this forum seem to be upset that the troublemakers came off second best after attacking a small woman.

How do you know what happened, you come across as a savage anti tourist so and so, no proof, just mouthing off.

I reserve my right to comment on this forum. We are all members here, with equal rights. We can read about foreigners behaving bad on a daily basis here. Why do you think that is. In my opinion they should all have same treatment, and after deported.

You are entitled to comment, but all I ask is to comment intelligently, and with common sense, you seem to lack both.

Believe what I am told. I have over 27 years of experience living in Thailand. I have lived in Bangkok and Pattaya and been a fairly regular visitor of Phuket. I now live in a more secluded part of Thailand, but still visit all three places. Like a 7 day trip every month. I go out a lot during my week of travel, and have never encountered any problems, over 27 years. So, of course you have seen this, and you have seen that, and your girlfriend is telling porkies. Maybe you and guys like you should start think with your F-ing brains. if you are positive, friendly, have a smile and socialize with people on all levels and nationalities, you will have no problem in Thailand. If you are of the negative kind that you are it will rub off on people. Already feel that I need a shower.

Firstly, I don't think with my ass like you. Secondly, you don't know absolutely anything about me, or my friends. Third, I can imagine places you go and smile, like shopping malls or 7/11. You have probably  never been in a bars of that sort in last 20 years, but you do have a strong opinion on everything that you are told. where is a video of those tourists slapping a girl? there are cctv everywhere but I never see any proof of tourists doing all those wrong things. I know people get drunk, and I know they do stupid things, and by no means I am defending someone like that, but every, and I repeat, every incident cited on this page, never, never are Thai guilty of  doing anything wrong. You go back to that secluded place of your and put your head in the sand.heers

Turns out that a Muslim on FB asked whether they were Jewish , and that was enough for some people to suggest that they were Israeli .

These Thai guys could care less about the lady. It just made an excuse for a good stomping. We've seen this behavior time and time again. I'm not defending the foreigners just stating a known fact. Thai men love a one sided brutal attack, much like the soi dogs I've encountered.

Totally agree. A good group stomping is what it's about in Patong and Pattaya.

I do absolute not approve the "tourists" behavior.

BUT

Understand "overnumbered" by thais and also drunk.

Why didnt they just take them outside and prevent from reentering ??

The thais had to use the opportunity to "kick daylight" out of them as well.

Scary....

And whats just as scary is all the approving comment from people on the web.

Ever heard of appropriate countermeasures ? 🙂

Yes one day a group of Thais will kill somebody, may be somebody who was completely innocent but who cares. Proportionate violence is one thing. A disproportionate violent attack is something else.

I think you need to read again, and understand that I did not need your explanation or you acting like a teacher. Did you read that I had over 27 years of experience of Thailand? Did you also read never had a problem? To me, that seems like a huge risk, right?

27 years in Thailand, doesn't mean anything, it certainly hasn't made you a better person, it tells me you were an outcast in your home country, especially with your attitude.

What about gender equality? It should works in both side.

YEEES.  My post nearly  got to saying that, then progressing further where an aquaintance of mine is a champion of Muay Thai who would herself have kicked the you know  what out of the slapper. But she would not frequent such a place.
