It is not a distraction, nor a straw man argument. You and the Gazan arabs label the Bedouins thieves, as violent thugs. The Bedouins have been dispossessed of their land. You are ever so righteous in your support of the Gazan arabs, and accept their blood libel against the Bedouins who are fighting for their survival. The Bedouins were nomads with their flocks who grazed Gaza. The arabs came and ran them off their land. It wasn't the Israelis. Now the Bedouins are trying to preserve their culture and the little dignity that they have left. What did you expect them to do when denied access to the generous western aid and run off of their lands? There was a time when Bedouins could take their herds and flocks of animals across the Gaza/Israel border without problem. The neighboring Israeli farmers may not have liked it, but they had a right of grazing established by the Israeli courts. At worst, a Bedouin might steal a chicken, but there was never violence. The Gazan arabs forced the Israelis to fortify the border and to block access. The arab terrorists would try and pass as Bedouins to infiltrate into Israel, further eroding the safety and security of the Bedouins. The Israelis who have come since the fences and guard posts don't remember the Bedouins, further eroding the Bedouin position. The point is that the Bedouins are forced to arm themselves and to do what they do because westerners like you don't support them and instead assume that the Gazan arabian arabs are the rightful occupants and lavish all their aid on the Gazans. No one ever speaks up on behalf of the original inhabitants, the genuine arab residents, the Bedouins. Instead, they repeat lies and falsehoods that characterize bedouins as thieves and thugs. They are not. They are a hospitable and warm people. Yes, a bit rough around the edges, but they are decent and loyal. They are discriminated against because they do practice the same rigid interpretation of religion as do Hamas, Islamic Jihad and others. -

Oh yes I know. These people are so out of touch it boggles the mind. I'm from Boulder Colorado where that recent incident happened, in fact going back next month to visit my parents. They are the tip of the spear for liberal progressive nonsense and encouraged this at every step along the way. The only thing that has saved them so far is the insane housing prices but it's creeping closer and closer every year. -
