For once a reasonable post from you. You are correct. One thing I could add though is does Iran's nuke capability still exist in some form. 

 

Iran made their face saving attack last night.  

I don't care where the news came from let's hope it is true.  But IMO Israel should not accept any permanent ceasefire (aka peace) until Iran agrees to open inspections to prevent future development of nukes.  That or the regime stepping down and allowing the people to hold open elections of a new government.

 

Otherwise leaving this regime in power even as badly damaged as they are will result in their slowly returning to a terrorist nation threatening the west at every turn.  Stopping now seems like seeing the finish line and agreeing to a tie with the guy 50 yards behind you.

With no confirmation from the original players in this game Trump declares a "Complete and total" ceasefire seemingly like an instruction.

Vance follows up with the suggestion  it will take effect next day !

What happened to the ceasefire trump announced?that’s no ceasefire…..again I sincerely hope it’s true and Iran gives up its nuclear weapons ambitions just like it was in the past with inspections ect ect.

It hasn't started yet (about 4 hrs from now at time of posting this). The nature of ceasefires is both combatants continue hostilities up to the time of the ceasefire.

What Iranian air defence capability they had was completely dismantled by the Israelis during the week preceding the American attack. They (US) could have painted their aircraft bright orange, turned on their radar transmitters and flown in broad daylight and Iran could have done nothing about it!

 

The B2 aircraft were used because they are the only ones capable of delivering those particular bombs, and they have the range needed. Their "stealth" capability is not relevant.
