I had a delayed transfer last month that initially Wise suggested it was my Thai Bank but my Thai Bank said it was an issue with Wise which turned out to be true and I received an apology.

No explanation but it was the first time I had made a transfer with the updated reformatted online  template which had  already nominated "reason for transfer" contrary to my usual given reason and a very subtle clickable field change "button" which I subsequently noted on next transfer.

How does it manifest that it doesn't work anymore? Does WISE refuse to process the transaction or does Kasikorn Bank bounce the funds? First I've ever heard of WISE problems with Kasikorn Bank!

Kasikorn bounces the funds

Wise said its on the K Bank side

Thanks.  It's strange as all Wise does is initiate a transfer from it's Thai account to yours.  They don't send your money at all.  I did a Wise UK to Kbank myself last week, 7 seconds, but that means nothing of course and these reports are getting more frequent.  I'd try another transfer, 10,000 or so, just to test the system.

Tried different amounts 20,000 failed, 6,000 failed and even tried 1000 and still did not work. It says the account details are incorrect eventhough I entered the same name, address and account number as always. Checking wih the KBank they said everything fine

Two months ago, my Mrs & I opened a Joint account at Bkk Bank, and when I tried WISE, the dosh was returned saying Incorrect Bank Data, because I had simply left MY name as the recipient. I now send it to my original single account, and transfer to Joint as soon as it arrives.

Some may ask why have a Joint account. So that when I pop my clogs, she can legally withdraw from it without waiting for probate.

Maybe a long shot but if you go on the app to a successful transfer there is the "repeat this transfer"  button.  Might be worth a try?

I am not sure that you are correct about withdrawing money without probate you should check that

But here we are surely talking about actual practice, not legal theory!  And in practice, once the money has been withdrawn, it just vanishes.

Sometimes when people try to send money from outside Thailand to my Wise account, they cannot use the "same day transfer" option. If they choose the "normal" option it works. Wise doesn't support expedited transfers in the EU for some reason, for some banks, anyway.

I think this is a troll, or bob (same thing?).

Because he says he has been doing this for a year, then later says:

Anybody using Wise knows they do not enter the "same" details every time, because you save your own Thai bank details, and only click transfer to yourself every time, and it should go through like every other time.

He does not specify what steps he took to rectify the problem, only that a vague problem exists.  Let's see "his" future posts to determine if this is just a time waster.
