I’d be happy if they banned kinds from business class.

I think they should have a special cage with oxygen and maybe a bag of crisps in the hold.

Been there done that - you can still here some screaming babies from there - one reason never wasted the money again.

And ban alcohol on flights too. Nothing worse than sitting next to a drunk with beer or whiskey breath on a long flight.

I never speak to anyone sat next to me on a long haul flight so I certainly don't sit there smelling their breath. Extremely unlikely I will ever see them again so comfortable with that.

If it looks like I've got a 'talker' next to me I start twitching and making random noises for a few minutes. Seems to do the trick.

They make luggage fit a specified physical dimension. They can do the same with people. Have a sample seat sitting at the departure lounge. If someone can't fit in it or they spill over, they must buy two tickets.

That is a great idea - set the weight limit at 120Kgs and if they cannot fit in the 'trial seat'.

How many people wake up in the morning and think "in just a few hours I'll be spread out on an airplane aisle, police and airline officials surrounding me, filmed and recorded on people's phones with the video sent out across the world and becoming an international news story, as well as likely being banned from all future air travel." How do you escape from considering the shame and humiliation you will now live with for the rest of your life?

How ever that does not cover knee and leg room from the seat in front.

I used to get one just about every flight until I hit some magic age.  I wasn't flying much between 60-65, so I don't know what that magic age was.  Just that I'm too old now.

I still get one sometimes and I'm nearly 80, but I'm Aussie and a used to be hansum man.

So, he got from the UK to Thailand without complaining, but on the way back, suddenly the seat is an issue?

it's clearly not a long haul flight

Watched the Video a few times and yes he is your typical salad dodging yank probably nipped into Burger King for a few Whoppers and a gallon of Coca Cola before his flight. Plus he is your average dress code yank bet he wears white knee socks.

IMO anyone over 120Kgs should be forced to buy 2 economy seats, or use business class. And children under 4 years old should be banned on all long-haul flights over 4 hours.

My children are in their fifties now but I never had any problems when they were under four. If their parents can control them there should be no problem but kids whose parents are accustomed with letting them run wild will have issues in a confined space with other people.

The people who  do this, have no concern for shame, nor are they embarrassed. A week does not go by when we see/hear of these people. This past week we had incidents on Aeroflot, Easy Jet and Spirit.  They need behavior modification and until they receive it  and are made a public example of, the incidents will continue.
