Hi all

I was hoping somebody could let me know the best place to do a non-O visa run nowadays (based on marriage). Looking for a budget option but I hope to fly rather than take a bus.

Thanks in advance.

Are you asking about obtaining a Non O marriage eVisa?

You should consider Savannakhet.

Pay fee at embassy then apply online.

Reports process almost overnight.

Thanks all.

Does anybody know if any of the consulates are likely to be busy? I did a run at Vientiane once and nearly missed my return flight due to the huge queue to pick up my visa the next day.

Why not make one extra day or two just in case if you worry about a long que or anything else would delay your new non-O visa

I think you're a bit mixed y up, all that consulate in the world are online application process only.

You go to the country whose Thai consulate you want to apply thru, you upload your application, documents, proof you're in the country, pay and then wait for them to email you the PDF eVisa.

Both Vientiane and Savannakhet will issue the 90 day single entry non o visa based on marriage (with proof you have 400k) in just a few days, often only one day after you go to the consulate and pay for the visa (which you do after you apply at that consulates)

Keep in mind you can only get 90 day single entry non o for marriage now, they discontinued year long, multiple entry.
