Vaccines are only recommended for those in the highly vulnerable groups in most countries and this represents a minority of the population. People in these groups can contact their doctors. As for vaccines targeting new strains by the time the vaccine is available there's already a new strain.

I don't believe it; suffered severe side effects after the 3rd one in 2021. As well as the long standing ill effect that took place in the following year.

 

A friend of mine, even got it worse, after the  first one. 

He suffered half year long of constant fatigue, taste disorder, loss of work ability while he is young and must work as the freelance(It engineer).

Although currently a minority, XFG is anticipated to become the predominant strain, according to Dr. Yongyos.

 

This potential rise of XFG could shape the next phase of the pandemic. Understanding its behaviour and impact on public health will be crucial. Global health communities are encouraged to stay vigilant as new information emerges about this sub-variant.

 

As countries ease restrictions, keeping a watchful eye on variant developments remains a priority. The impact of XFG and how it interacts with vaccine-induced immunity will be a key focus for researchers. Continuous monitoring and timely updates will help inform policy decisions and public health strategies.

 

Thailand, with its robust health infrastructure, is well-equipped to handle emerging threats. But as XFG’s nature is studied further, staying informed and cautious will be vital for both citizens and officials alike.

As far as I am aware, there's been no mandatory need to keep getting vaccinated anywhere, and the original 2 shots + 1 booster is still the global standard. They have been tweaking the influenza shots for decades, but I haven't seen any announcements that indicate they are doing the same with covid shots. Won't these ineffective vaccine shots weaken the body's own natural immune system? Or is that vaccine conspiracy theorist rhetoric?

 

They should only issue a warning when there's a significantly more virulent variant doing the rounds.

Not too many deny the existence of SarS-CoV-2. It came from a lab in Wuhan. As for anti-vaxxers this now very old and tired demonising of those who don't want to be jabbed with mRNA jabs as anti-vaxxers (i.e. anti all vaccines) is pitiful.

One of these days a deadlier new strain/virus will come along and the anti-vaxxers will refuse any vaccines/masks/efforts to minimize the spread, and this time they will pay for it in much bigger numbers than during the Covid pandemic. MUCH bigger numbers.
