Calling any democrat a leftist is just hateful jingoism, and reveals how divided America truly is. It is deplorable speech. It would be the same as me calling any MAGA supporter an extremist. Shame on you.

If they offered me a free house, car, and a monthly stipend, I would NOT return to the U.S. First of all, it isn't the U.S. now. There is nothing 'united' about America today. Not the people, not

  • So much drama in your response. First of all, no one will offer you free car, house and money. You are not required to eat out in restaurants.    What I do dislike about paying for take out

In the United States, even undocumented immigrants are protected by the Constitution. They have the right to Due Process under the Law.  That is NOT being given to them.  The U.S. Constitution,

If Trump were a real patriot he would have served his country in uniform.  Bone spurs; what a joke!

It would be interesting to see how many posters here on AN served in the Armed Forces. I did 4 yrs, right after the VN war ended.

And yet those who never served criticize others who never served. The hypocrisy is deep.

Or claimed they had but hadn’t.

I also enlisted after Nan conflict also '76'.

Born 1954, they never drew draft #s for that year, as it was winding down.

Do I need to provide a copy of my DD214 for proof :cheesy:

Think I saw you in Olongapo when I caught my first ship in 1976.

Not a squid, Army.   Older brother's number was up, so enlisted in Air Force.   Needed someone to pay for Uni anyway.  Beats being drafted for the meat grinder.

No.

I much prefer to laugh at Trump trash that is Australian or Brit, like here.

Not in their trailer Park natural habitat

A bit of a downer: the American Trump trash year are all pretty civil and educated. So hard to make fun of.

A few mid-western states are giving free lands in rural towns to build homes and stay in the US. Anybody planning to go back to the US with their social security? Property taxes are "alleged" to be in "hundreds" only.  And in rural Kansas one can build a house for $125K. Walmart and hospitals are within 30 minutes drive.

Places like Lincoln, KS are giving free land as a place for your primary residence. You could be your own pot farmer as soon as it goes legal. :stoner:

"Several small towns in Kansas are offering free residential lots to attract new residents and boost their economies. These towns include Lincoln, Marquette, Mankato, Plainville, Osborne, and Wilson. The specific requirements and incentives vary by town, but generally involve building a new home within a specified time frame"

Well I've posted many times, our reason to leave Thailand permanently was my boredom.

But we move back and forth which for us is ideal.

I'm gonna be having some back surgery in the next month or so, and we're thinking, get me over initial recovery then a couple of months at our house in Thailand is the perfect place to decompress and recoup, before getting back to reality

My wife works for the military.

Ellsworth AFB is shut down until November while they upgrade the runway, so she's unemployed, so perfect timing

But a couple of months in Thailand I have to say will be enough, and we'll have had our fill of LaLa land for this year
