Leather/Rubber quality formal shoe sole replacement

Featured Replies

My go to shop on the corner of Soi Buakhow and Soi 21 seems to be permanently shuttered unless they open very infrequently.

Can anybody recommend anywhere else?

What was the cost? Do they do that for running shoes/sneakers?

Mine have foam sections which are deteriorating.

I just got new heels on a pair of dress shoes, and they did a decent job for B150, but it took two weeks.

I had a pair of sneakers re-glued and it was B60.

I am guessing this was in Bangkok?

Looking for a Pattaya location thanks.

I just got a couple tubes of shoes adhesive from diy and did it myself. I did a great job btw.

So having read on another forum I ended up at the same guy I used to restick a trainer sole a few months ago as it was suggested he was one of the original guys from the Soi Buakhow/Lengkee resto area. I confess I did not make the effort to go and have a look there.

No idea if he is or isn't but quoted 300 baht for rubber soles and heels. Just picked them up and he seems to have done a good job........

Location - Pattaya Klang, south bound on the left opposite the Royal Century Hotel turn in. Tucked in next to some MC taxi guys with 2 closed shops metal shutters behind him.

He was stitching up a pair of casual shoes when I was there.

Company called RESH in Bangkok can do really good quality repairs, Red Wing, Vibram etc. all types of stitching, Dunlop welt, mid sole and outers, not just glued.

You can find them here - not exactly cheap, but excellent quality.

So you are a cobbler and a plumber.

A truly flexible skillset.

I've used RESH in Central Rama 3 for resoling boots, they did a good job, I had supplied them with soles and heels and they did the replacing work for ฿1,200, that was a couple of years ago.

I see on their website all sole resoling is from ฿4,500 - ฿7,500

There is a small shop in Pattaya across from Sunday House Cafe near the railroad tracks for shoe repair.
