Pattaya City Police Station has been awarded first place in the prestigious annual regional police training competition, securing top honours in two key categories: Unarmed Drills and Urban Tactical Operations.

The competition, aimed at showcasing the discipline, readiness, and strategic capabilities of police forces across the region, saw Pattaya’s officers demonstrate exceptional skills and professionalism. The win is seen not only as a mark of operational excellence but also as a reflection of the commitment officers make to public service and safety.

The Pattaya police team excelled in the Unarmed Drills category, highlighting their precision, discipline and unity. In the Urban Tacticssegment, they impressed with their ability to manage complex scenarios involving public safety and potential urban conflict situations, skills deemed vital for law enforcement in busy metropolitan areas.

“This victory belongs to every member of the team,” said the unit’s leadership. “We train not for awards, but for the security of Pattaya, a city known to the world.”

The accomplishment was made possible under the leadership of Pol Col Anek Sarathongyu, Superintendent of Pattaya City Police Station, who, along with his command team and dedicated trainers, has been credited for their unwavering focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement.

The success further affirms Pattaya Police’s preparedness to handle the challenges of maintaining security in one of Thailand’s most important tourist destinations. As the city continues to welcome millions of visitors each year, local law enforcement remains committed to ensuring peace and safety for both residents and tourists alike.
