Non of this has ever happened to me
Thats actually the way they are taught... As I understand it, the inside (left most lane) is tought that its the lane for slower vehicles, lorries etc travelling well below the speed limit and the central lane is the driving lane. Of course on two lane roads, its quite often that the left lane is in such poor condition that people drive in the right lane. -
