The reporting is that Trump fired a Biden appointee.

If Biden appointed them, than Biden likely fired the Trump appointee, correct?

Dr. William Beach served a 4-year term 2019 - 2023

Beach was nominated for the position in October 2017 and confirmed by the U.S. Senate on March 13, 2019, to serve a four-year term.

McEntarfer was confirmed by the Senate in January 2024.  -- Wikipedia

So I was correct, in that she was a Biden appointee, thanks.

You mean there were only 8 republicans that had a seat in the senate?

You seem confused. The US Senate did not make the appointment.

You are confused, they could have voted against it

You mean like how the Democrats voted against virtually all of Trump’s appointments?

That the Senate confirmed her, does not make her any less an appointee.

William W. Beach is the former Commissioner of Labor Statistics and head of the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), an independent U.S. government fact-finding agency focused on labor economics and statistics, inflation, and productivity.

Beach was nominated for the position in October 2017 and confirmed by the U.S. Senate on March 13, 2019, to serve a four-year term.

In July 2023, President Joe Biden nominated McEntarfer to serve as Commissioner of Labor Statistics at the Bureau of Labor Statistics. She was confirmed by the Senate in January 2024.

Further from her conservative predecessor Mr. Beach:

William Beach, a former BLS commissioner appointed by Trump in his first presidency, posted on X that McEntarfer’s firing was “totally groundless”. He added that the dismissal set a dangerous precedent and undermined the BLS’s statistical mission.

Beach also co-signed a letter * by “the Friends of the Bureau of Labor Statistics” that went further, accusing Trump of seeking to blame someone for bad news and calling the rationale for McEntarfer’s firing “without merit”.

Did the 2023 revisions not come after the election?

1.Yellowtail, do you have memory issues?

Jerrymahoney already replied about it. Not fired, just the end of his mandate!

2. No. Mainly in July and August. The minor revisions after the election were upwards! 😀

As a consultant for quality management issues I had some insight about how companies work on, thrive on, hide, point out on certain data.

Here is the thing: given some time, usually just a few days, almost everything that is made up or being changed to look different from reality can be discovered and the ones who tried to cheat can be confronted.

Now, Trump is a master in accusing institutions or people for anything he does not like. E.g. the rigged election thing. I have never seen any evidence for it, even after he is president again, nothing.

Same now for the jobs report issue: where is any, only the slightest piece of evidence for data being tampered with?

1. the revisions were not setting any record (just providing this wrongful information makes me question this basic claim)

2. Normally the one who is accusing someone of wrongdoing should prove something is odd? Especially someone in the highest position in the US should not have the slightest problem to prove something that would be so easy to prove, that is if it really happened..

Ok, if you like sucking you poo smelling thumb it explains your preference for eating turd sandwiches for every time you witness Trump WINNING. Is it true, that witnessing President Trump and his stellar record of accomplishments, achievements and WINNING get your taste buds yearning for another turd burger or you prefer turd sandwiches?

I mean, wow. And you're allowed to vote?

I just reopened my case, allowed all that childish nonsense to spill out, now I rest it again. Please stop proving my point, it's all clear already.

Here's the opinion of someone who should know if the numbers were rigged.

Trump's Former Labor Statistics Chief Says There's 'No Way' Jobs Numbers Were 'Rigged'

"“There’s no way for that to happen,” said Beach, who was replaced by McEntarfer in January 2024. “The commissioner doesn’t do anything to collect the numbers. The commissioner doesn’t see the numbers until Wednesday before they’re published. By the time the commissioner sees the numbers, they’re all prepared. They’re locked into the computer system."

Mr. Trump has said he will have a nominee in 3 or 4 days to submit for Senate confirmation.
