It doesn't take much of an imagination to understand that Epstein, Brunel and Guiffre meeting untimely ends will have a chilling effect on anyone coming forward. If they can take out high profile players, what chance a relatively unknown ex-model?

Ghislane Maxwell is on record stating that Epstein did not commit suicide. 

 

In the end it's just a strand in the whole tapestry. While we are looking over here, something else is happening over there.

"no attorney of record" means that there is no lawyer officially representing a party in a court case or legal proceeding. This can occur when a party is representing themselves (pro se) or when a previously appointed attorney has withdrawn or been removed from the case".

The first suit over the alleged rapes was filed in federal court in Riverside, California, in April by someone acting without an attorney and using the name “Katie Johnson.” That suit named both Trump and Epstein as defendants, alleging that the two men held Johnson as a “sex slave” and repeatedly forced her to engage in sexual acts against her will.

 

Subsequent news reports raised doubts about who filed the suit. Johnson claimed she had just $300 in assets and that she was living at a home in Twentynine Palms, California, but Radar Online reported neighbors said the home had been foreclosed upon and vacant since its owner died last year.

 

U.S. District Court Judge Dolly Gee dismissed that case in May, ruling that Johnson’s complaint didn’t raise valid claims under federal law. Gee, an appointee of President Barack Obama, noted that the suit cited a criminal statute that doesn’t give rise to civil damages and that the civil statute Johnson cited only applies to actions based on “race-based or class-based animus.”

True, but then again if they (the lawyer) was "warned off" because of the powerful people involved and realised he was fighting a losing battle, he would not want to go ahead with it. A pointless exercise in his opinion.

 

Furthermore the filing went into great detail as regards the activities of trump and Epstein which leads one to believe the the truth was told/filed. However IMO the case would be "dead in the water" because of the powerful, connected and wealthy people involved.......as the saying goes she/they were "on a hiding to nothing".

Totally uncorroborated except that the complaint says there will be a material witness "Tiffany Doe" who was a former Epstein employee.

 

There was a lawsuit against a billionaire 'friend' of Epstein where there was also a long narrative but in the counter suit it was alleged that the prior complaint omitted that she --

 

... consciously disregarded obvious evidentiary flaws, including the absence of any issues with the Plaintiff.  Indeed, the public record demonstrates that (she) has been involved with over 35 lawsuits, including interpersonal battles raising issues that bear heavily on her trustworthiness. Among other things, (she) has been accused of harassment, stalking, and threatening to kill her neighbors and urinate in the food of a neighbor’s ex-wife.   (She) also has an extensive criminal rap sheet, including prior arrests for possession of crack cocaine and other drugs.
