Our wives loves us....just ask any personal trainer, massage therapist, UPS delivery guy, the local mechanic, the handyman working on the "Plumbing", the office co-worker at happy hour, the friend of a friend who hangs out with your wives at her "Girl Night out"...etc.

If anyone is insane enough to get married to a Thai babe in this country, just realize that she will be F-ing her Village boyfriends, the sponsors she "did not forget", her real Thai Boyfriend on the side and maybe a few Tyrones and Chads while you were gone. Such is life here. Sex is secondary to a relationship. Money is #1. Ask any Thai man if I am wrong. You are referring specifically to bar girls and their farang sponsors, and not wrong in that respect. In general Thai life, I don’t think it’s quite as you describe. Sex being secondary to money, is probably true in most Asian countries, including Thailand.

Nah, my BiL living in rural Nan knows a lady, when he can scrape together the 200bht she wants. I don't have a problem with infidelity, restricting your loved ones choices isn't a nice thing, it's just sex. Almost every Thai couple I've encountered appear to have sex with others.
August 7, 2025Aug 7 We must consider that Thailand society views these issues differently. This country has a long tradition of Mia Noi, where the first wife might actually participate in the recruiting of the Junior Wife (mistress in most other societies). I don't see Western puritanical values deeply penetrating Thai culture (pun intended). This is not right or wrong, Thai culture is what it is. Gay women and men, as well as transvestites, are not forced to hide their preferences, Thai society can be remarkably tolerant -- on many levels.

August 7, 2025Aug 7 After a great first boom-boom session with my new virgin Thai girlfriend, she gently asked me some money to help her grand-mother who was taking care of her two kids . . . Well, I paid her and came back home to confirm my flame to my Thai wife who became pregnant despite we were only having oral or anal sex justly for contraception . . .

I know but when you only have a ceremonial wedding, there is nothing that keep the partners from having other partners.. As soon as there is a legal wedding and partners are bound to pay when the wedding ends it will be different... because if a ceremonial wedding ends everyone goes their own way, but in a legal divorce they can claim money and goods, and than many will think twice

Thais on the other hand for one reason or another, might have more of a tendency to answer the question honestly. I also question the veracity (as you say). This is much like comparing apples with pears. For example, there is a big difference between infidelity in western countries, where one does not (normally) have to pay for doing it like cash on the table, and infidelity in Thailand where, in many instances, money is put on the table. I've known a few Thai men boasting about their geeks and I'm 99% certain that they had to pay sthg. Would western men say they are not true to their wives if once in a while they screw a prostitute? Also, about Thais having possibly a tendency to answer honestly, I wonder if Thai men do not have a tendency to build themselves a macho ego by making inflated claims (again, counting the girls they meet in the karaoke bars, special massage places and so on)? For sure, one should also make a difference between social classes, rural versus city and so on.

This revelation comes from an analysis combining data from BedBible, World Population Review, and Insider Monkey, shedding light on global infidelity trends. In a surprising twist, Thailand is the sole Asian country to feature in the top 20 list, with about 51% of married individuals admitting to infidelity. This offers a striking contrast to other countries, where cultural norms and societal pressures might influence such behaviour. The results underscore significant issues related to trust and commitment within marriages worldwide, transcending cultural and geographical boundaries. Ranking just behind Thailand, Denmark sees a 46% infidelity rate, closely followed by Germany and Italy at 45%, and France at 43%. This study provides a new lens through which to view infidelity, a complex and often concealed issue. With Nordic countries like Norway (41%) and Finland (36%) also featuring prominently, the findings suggest that even societies known for progressive views on relationships face challenges around marital fidelity. In Europe, countries such as Belgium, Spain, and the United Kingdom report considerable infidelity rates, highlighting that this phenomenon is not bound by cultural norms or relationship structures. In North America, Canada and the United States show lower, yet still significant, rates of 36% and 35% respectively. A closer examination reveals that men are generally more likely to admit to infidelity, with a higher prevalence among those aged 30 to 60. However, there's an emerging trend where women are increasingly engaging in infidelity, though often with greater discretion. This shift could reflect changing dynamics in gender roles and expectations within marriages. Another intriguing aspect is the rise of emotional infidelity, especially among women. Many individuals underestimate the impact of online interactions, not realising their emotional investment could equate to unfaithfulness. As digital communication becomes embedded in daily life, the boundaries between friendship and infidelity blur, further complicating relationships. These findings serve as a catalyst for deeper conversations about marriage, trust, and fidelity. The high rates in Thailand, for example, invite questions about cultural attitudes towards monogamy and the societal factors contributing to such statistics. There could be various influences, including economic conditions, societal norms, or even the dynamics of urban living that might foster environments where infidelity is more likely to occur. Moreover, the data encourages exploration of potential grassroots solutions. Advocates for healthier relationships may push for greater emphasis on communication and counselling, aiming to support couples in navigating the complexities of marriage in the modern era. Thus, while the numbers paint a daunting picture, they also provide an opportunity to rethink and reframe approaches to relationship stability. Whether through policy, education, or therapeutic interventions, these insights could drive a new wave of initiatives aimed at reducing infidelity rates and facilitating stronger, more resilient partnerships. In today's interconnected world, understanding and addressing the underlying causes of infidelity is crucial. As societal norms evolve, so too must the strategies for fostering trust and commitment in relationships, ensuring they withstand the pressures of modern life. Adapted by ASEAN Now from The Thaiger 2025-08-06 It's always been normal for the males to have Mia noi/kick. It's a thai culture. But having a legal marriage doesn’t stop one or both partners having sex with other parties and remaining married. So the legal marriage doesn’t preclude infidelity if the parties are so minded. Most extramarital sex remains secret from the other partner I would think
