Trump/Putin meeting coming up: What will happen if Selensky will not make territorial concessions? What do you think?

I think: This will make Donald very angry, him calling Selensky a "peace saboteur". Not sending any urgently needed arms to the Ukraine anymore.

With the result, that Selensky will eventually lose the entire Ukraine to Russia. I would certainly not want to be in Selensky's shoes. He is damned if he does and damned if he doesn't. Poor devil.

If he feels stuck between a rock and a hard place the little fella could always hold an election.

Nothing is going to happen.

They'll MIGHT be a meeting.  After the meeting Trump will bad mouth Putin - again - and have a temper tantrum that "Putin refuses to do what I tell him to do and keeps making up terms," even though Putin iterated the terms for the cession of the conflict on June 14, 2024 at a speech at the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.  Nothing has changed regarding Russian terms over the last year. Trump and the US administration just pretend they never have heard about the terms and then have a conniption fit when the Russian delegation repeats the terms that were announced over a year ago.  It's all theater.
So after the meeting Trump will huff and puff and yell and scream, then threaten Russia - again - and then threaten them some more, and threaten any country conducting trade with Russia (except for itself because the US need uranium hexafloride and fertilizers worse than Russia needs to sell them to the US.  Then Trump will bomb Iran again as Iran is a good whipping boy.

The Russian SMO doesn't end until the AFU surrenders unconditionally which will eventually happen.

Trump will brag about the great meeting they had, and what a wonderful relationship he has with Putin, and the mutual respect they have for each other. And they will have agreed on soooo many things, only because he (Trump) had the upper hand in the discussions, and Putin agreed to everything he suggested.

And the deal they agreed to was big and beautiful, and really the best for Ukraine.

......................... Quick forward 2 weeks, and everything you mentioned will be a reality

Isn't that a known fact already that the US can switch off F35 functions for countries who have purchased them, if they don't do what he demands?

From what I can read, most EU countries cancelled their F35 orders, probably because they wake up to the reality

Yup some president ehh?

I suspect it will go farther than that if Zelenskyy refuses to surrender his nation to the Russian

It's about the four oblasts and Crimea not ALL of Ukraine. Zelensky doesn't want to give these away and this I understand but in war the victor takes the spoils as harsh as this is but reality is reality and Russian troops continue to take ground with many eastern cities in real danger of being captured. Ukraine cannot win the ground war.

I certainly don't expect much especially with Zelensky sticking is nose in it.

But, could people imagine if Kamala was there?  Her word salad, throwing her hands in the air as she talks, saying: well Vlad I just not fall from a Coconut tree..  what an embarrassing fiasco of stupid incompetence.

Yes like Trump negotiated the Afghan deal in the UAE without the Afghan prese " sticking his nose in " . How did that work out  with the Taliban ?

If Harris was there Russia would be on its back possibly suing for peace, for 100% sure Ukraine would be in a much much stronger position our economy would be stronger the world safer out education system would be better the laws would be followed as well as the constitution and our democracy would be in less danger.

So true. Instead, your president is a traitor hellbent on destroying democracy in the US and causing absolute chaos in world politics and trade.

Expect Ukraine/President Zelensky to be sold down the river after Putin scratches his boy Trump behind the ear.

Hopefully Trump can then strong-arm Zelensky into making concessions to make the little nationalist see sense.

Zelensky's war is totally pointless. He should have given up a long time ago.

It will be interesting to see everyone's reaction after the meeting.

I expect that there will be 15 different spins on the outcome, everyone interpreting it differently based on their own biases.

As a conspiracy theorist, that video indicates that he is not a real politician, merely a puppet.

He does come across as a bit of a puppet and a muppet. But that is a real video, not AI. I could not believe my eyes that someone like this actually leads a country.

What times we live in.
