Do you pee hovering over the toilet? A Md. doctor outlines habits that can harm your pelvic floor muscles

Do you go to the bathroom “just in case” before you leave the house? A local doctor says that might not be a good idea for your health.

August is Pelvic Floor Dysfunction Awareness Month, which aims to bring awareness to how you can take steps to keep your muscles strong.

“When we force the process by pushing or straining, it disrupts this natural cycle,” said Dr. Nwamaka Fadahunsi, a urologist at Kaiser Permanente in Maryland. “It can lead to long-term coordination issues between the brain, the bladder and the pelvic floor.”

Only when I'm drunk, lots of swaying too. 🥳

I hate public toilets especially gas station toilets. I can take a leak but not number 2

My absolute worst experience was Moscow Airport 1991, still have PTSD thinking back on the experience where your illustration is spot on, just missing footprints made by <deleted>e on the toilet seat

No, fire hydrant or neighbors tire.

Went to Bhutan for a couple or year to attend a Levitation retreat... But I won't try; don't like having to put on a helmet to pee.

Brings back old memories " there's no use standing on the seat as the crabs in here can jump six feet"

My goodness, when you say hover in such a way, I think of a warlock over a cauldron!

It has been illegal for anyone in my house, since1993, to stand up and pee......I even had labels put on the toilets giving strict instructions.

Standing up to pee is disgusting.

I might if the toilet seats are down all the time.

Why did Mother Nature give men external plumbing, if it was not meant to be used standing up?

why are the mods letting this garbage being posted, what's the relevance to Thailand and to AsianNow
