4th 60day stamp - no extension?

Featured Replies

Hello! I don't get an extension for my 4th 60day stamp, officer said it is only possible for the 1st and 2nd 60days stamp to get an extension. Just wanna double check here, if it is real rule or again a Koh Tao Immigration thing. Should I try at another Immigration? (for the 1st 3 stamps I had no extensions, don't know if that matter..)

Think you will find the issue is a Koh Tao immigration thing.

Out of interest guessing first visa exempt was via air then next 3 using land entries.

So 8 months in visa exempt stamps (so far)

How long spent out of Thailand in that time

Thank You! Yes, thought it is a Koh Tao immigration thing.. But yeah quite a while here, 11 years, and all 4 stamps land entries (yes, 8 month), without significant time spend outside of Thailand (before many years on Non-B), is it a problem for extension?

No.

30 day extension should be granted as a matter of course.

At entry via airport visa exempt in future suggest you use "safe entry" agent.

Thank You! Yes, thought this too, was very surprised when I didn't get it.. But need to travel to Krabi anyways, will try there..
