Crime Couple Arrested for Luring Boys for OnlyFans Content

Police have arrested a married couple on serious charges, including human trafficking and producing child sex abuse material, after they allegedly lured underage boys and other young men to perform in explicit videos for their lucrative OnlyFans accounts.

 

The suspects, named by police as Mr. Pakphoom, 29 and Ms. Keerati, 30, were apprehended at a flat in the Lad Krabang district of Bangkok. The arrest followed a warrant issued by the Criminal Court on 21 August.

 

The investigation was launched after cyber crime police identified two popular social media accounts, with a combined following of over 570,000 users, used to advertise hundreds of short, explicit clips. The accounts directed subscribers to paid content on the subscription-based platform OnlyFans.

 

An undercover officer subscribed to the couple's OnlyFans channel and discovered that some of the pornographic content featured a male under the age of 17. This discovery elevated the charges to those involving the sexual exploitation of a minor.

 

Authorities confirmed that the two accounts belonged to the couple. Evidence was gathered and presented to a judge to secure the arrest warrants.

 

During interrogation, the pair reportedly confessed to the operation. They stated they began creating adult content in 2021 on the suggestion of a friend, aiming to supplement their income. Ms. Keerati works primarily in a factory, while Mr. Pakphoom is a freelancer.

 

Police said the couple admitted to arranging for boys under 18 and other young men to have sex with Ms. Keerati. Mr. Pakphoom would film the encounters without the participants' knowledge or consent to upload the videos to OnlyFans. They told police this was a tactic to create more enticing content to attract paying subscribers.

 

Over four years, the venture allegedly earned them approximately 4 million Baht.

 

The charges they face are:

 

*   Human trafficking through the production of child pornography

*   Importing obscene data into a computer system

*   Distributing child pornography

*   Abducting a minor for obscene acts

*   Luring and encouraging a child to act in an inappropriate manner

 

Police seized two mobile phones, a swimsuit and a bracelet used in the production of the videos as evidence. The suspects have been handed over to investigators for further legal proceedings.
