Ukrainian troops have taken control of the Kupiansk city council building. The operation was carried out as part of efforts to unblock the city under the leadership of the command of the 2nd Corps of the National Guard of Ukraine, according to the 2nd Corps of the National Guard of Ukraine (NGU) Khartia.

Fighters from the reconnaissance and strike group of the 4th battalion of the Khartia Brigade raised Ukraine’s national flag over the city hall building in the central part of Kupiansk. Ukrainian units are currently completing clearance operations to eliminate remaining enemy forces in the city.

This video among other positive news for Ukraine covers how Zelinskyy has successfully managed to get past the corruption scandal there. I didn't expect he would have handled it so well. His political skills are quite remarkable. That matters a lot to the Ukrainian war effort.

Russian forces in the Oleksandrivske sector are sending fake videos to their command as supposed “proof” that they have allegedly captured territory. The footage is filmed deep inside Russia’s rear areas but presented as if it were recorded on the front line, according to Vladyslav Voloshyn, spokesperson for Ukraine’s Southern Defense Forces.

At the time I was asserting that Ukraine was WINNING the war.

That is very far from your SLEAZY lie that I was declaring victory for any side.

On the other point, my point was that there was a consensus spreading that victory for Russia was INEVITABLE. That's not to say that they can't win. The point is that it's a huge part of the Russian propaganda effort which many in the west have been fooled by including Trump, is that Russian victory is INEVITABLE.

Also asking why Ukraine didn't win years ago is an insanely WRONG question. Again I never predicted that they would win at all, and also the CORRECT question to ask is why Russia didn't win in about a week which was the documented intention and expectation of Putin and most of the world agreed except for Ukrainians.

Instead the invaders are still at it years later with perhaps a million Russian dead in the meat grinder.

Poland will supply Ukraine with up to nine of its MiG-29 fighter jets as part of assistance to Kyiv to defend against Russia's full-scale invasion, Polish Deputy Defense Minister Paweł Zalewski said, TVP World reports.

"We are waiting for the answer from the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense. Discussions are ongoing... these are completely technical discussions," Zalewski said.

In exchange for a new batch of Soviet-era MiG-29 fighter jets, Ukraine will provide Poland with a number of drone-related know-how solutions that have already demonstrated their effectiveness on the battlefield.
