So you're advocating a military-style dictatorship?

Nope

I am advocating calling a National Emergency under the National Security Act.

And invoking the Military on an MACA task.

Which is nothing like a military dictatorship.

Feeble attempt and a miserable failure.

And if you are unsure of what any of that means, take to your favourite AI chatbot.

The Tories tried this at Scampton.   The local members of  ‘Middle Britain’ campaigned and put a stop to the plan.   Farage seems not to have noticed either the public opposit

Lol, pull the other one. Farage has a sharp instinct for identifying and exploiting specific public grievances, but his approach is less about capturing a unified "national mood" and more about amplif

  • Oh look, you and Chomps on the same thread at the same time again. 😆 What a coincidence...   Look Chomps, Farage has a unique ability to read the mood of the nation. It has changed a lot sin

OK. What is an MACA task?  I could ask ChatGPT, but don't want to trigger you! 🤣

You don't know, and think I would be triggered that you don't know 😀😀😀

You are just highlighting your all round lack of knowledge.

The only thing you have is flapping your gums with no knowledge to back it up.

An affliction that affects many on the left, so don't take it personally.

Please speak for yourself and those people that you KNOW agree with you. You certainly don't speak for me.

Alright already. I acknowledge that you and a few others are in thrall of Farage's UKIP, Brexit, Reform recycling plant.

It's the equivalent of the US National Guard being mobilised into DC to address an invented crisis that's masquerading as a national security issue.

The thin end of the wedge, so to speak.

The reason the villagers of Scampton (or Middle Britain as you dishonestly refer to them) objected was because they (like the rest of Britain) didn't want the asylum seekers in THEIR village.

Not because they are pro immigration.

Nobody wants them. It's like a hot potato and Labour don't know who to pass it to next.

So why do you think the Carnival Barker Farage’s plan to put migrants in disused RAF bases will work this time?

And when Badenoch says that Reform are simply copying their policies without ever publicly stating what their illegal immigration policy is, they are even further out-of-tune.

And she’s right.

I suspect he would find a more remote disused RAF base. No nearby villages to upset.

The more remote, the better.

You might just as well dream up such nonsense because Farage never provide any details.

He has 4 years to provide the details.

If only Labour had started planning 4 years ahead we might not be in this mess.

I agree. I still think Reform will end up with more seats, but the scene has already been set - many on the far right think farage has lost his nerve, hence a new party has been born. It may well end in a hung parliament, reform and advance working together.

While many others are seeing the mess Reform are making of local councils.

The Tories have a master plan? Really?

Sunak's "Stop the boats" was as ineffective as Starmer's "Smash the gangs" is.

Just another sop to the NIMBY then.

More a concern for law abiding, tax paying citizens who live close by to such establishments.

The 1st duty of any Government, is the safety and security of its Citizens.

Because they will be held securely inside the camp.

No free busses.

No wandering about whenever they please.

The only time they will leave, is in a secure van on the way to the airport.

That is how easy it is.

I don’t claim the Tories have anything like a workable plan, rather the observation that Farage is copying some of the  Tories failed plans it is true.

The rest he’s copying from Trump.

This is Switzerland. The land of chocolate. mountains and used to be an idyllic holiday spot

Island in the outer Hebrides,

Give them some tents to live in, some sheep or goats for companionship, and they'll be completely happy.

Hardly comparable to the mess Labour has created.

It's easy for your lot to hold up your #refugeeswelcome banners. Put them in the house next door or suggest you put one in the spare bedroom and you're not so keen.

Typical leftist hypocrites and virtue signallers.

Farage believes his proposals align with public sentiment

Of course they do....doh....??      This is from where he'll get his votes........

He is employing the handbook that tells you.....appeal to the masses by mimicking any concerns (rational or not) they, exploit them and focus their minds on a perceived, preferably, internal enemy.

Stands a good chance of working if Musk doesn't stop him.

Has Farage provided these details or did you dream them up?

Refugees are welcome.

Ukrainian refugees are an example, warmly welcomed to the UK.

Has Farage suggested this or are you typing with one hand again?
