Is the VP under 3' tall?  Did you ever notice that the MSM always shows the gallows as full sized, and not the real Barbie and Ken Activist Adventure Series size?

And when the rioters were chanting Hang Mike Pence as they broke into the Capitol building, did anyone notice that they were singing off-key?

As you have pointed out, it's actually a great example of ICE overstepping their "regulations", as you put it.

What does "driving a car you have no right to drive" have to do with Immigration or Customs - oh wait, do you think she imported the car without paying tax?  Perhaps the camera was smuggled across the border, lol?

Despite what the Make Americans Goobers Again sycophants would like us to believe, ICE is not the local police and whether ICE likes it or not there is no law against photography in public spaces.

But as we've seen - time and again - the Make Americans Goobers Again morons support masked unaccountable armed thugs who assault American citizens illegally and then try to blame it on the American citizen.  Pitiful and pathetic but par for the course for this Administration.

She was driving a federal government car, which she had no right to drive- it was entrusted to her fiance. Crime. She tried to obstruct ICE agents. Crime. She was engaged in doxxing the agents, which puts their safety in jeopardy. Crime. She resisted arrest. Crime.

There is nothing wrong with protesting, it is a protected right. However, protest that endangers or obstructs law enforcement is not legitimate protest. And the sooner these loons learn this, the better. She chose to engage in what can generously be called "civil disobedience", and there is a price to be paid for that.

Maybe all those FBI infiltrators should have practiced their singing.

Nice allusion to Nazi Germany. Well done in keeping the discussion civil and non hysterical.  ICE goes where they are directed, to apprehend illegals. They do not operate outside of regulation.

Or do you think it is OK for people to live and work in the US illegally?  You may not like how ICE works, and I get that, but they ARE performing a valuable law enforcement function.

Every ‘person’ in the United States (NOTE: The law says every person, NOT every ‘citizen.’ )  has rights.  This means they are guaranteed protection under the Constitution from illegal detainment, illegal search and seizure, and the right to Due Process. When ICE starts following the Constitution, then, and ONLY then, should American citizens behave the same way.

The full psychological ramifications of this assault are not yet clear.

Right, that's why he apparently put the toy sandwich on his desk as a trophy.

Next think you know, Cameroni will accuse the sandwich of being Kosher.

And has become all too typical, the Customs and Border agent lied about the "assault".

Lairmore had testified that the sandwich “exploded all over” his chest and claimed he could smell mustard and onions. But a photo showed that the sandwich was still in its wrapper on the ground after it hit Lairmore in his bulletproof vest.

Nope.

Using the alleged poor behavior of one group to excuse the poor behavior of another group is childish.  "They did it first!" mentality.

If ICE is not operating correctly, the cases will surface in the court system. In the meantime, thousands of serious criminals have been caught, and something like 2 million illegals are gone.  Good results.

Everyone is entitled to due process.  But there are different standards of process due to people in the country illegally.  It's always been that way.

Right now the only trauma is upon Ms. Bondi and Ms. Pirro for over-dramatizing this whole thing at the onset.

In a video posted on X * , Pirro said Dunn “thought it was funny.”

“Well, he doesn't think it's funny today, because we charged him with a felony assault on a police officer, and we're gonna back the police to the hilt, so there!” she added. “Stick your Subway sandwich somewhere else."

* Thursday 14 August

This pair of poor misguided, inexperienced and unprofessional souls thought they were serving their dear leader, who, if I am not mistaken, has not opined publicly on this farce.

  • Popular Post

Had Pirro been more rational, plus coached her witness ("victim") better, she could have gotten a misdemeanor conviction. She alienated the jury with her overcharging.

The "victim" testified that "The sandwich exploded on my bulletproof vest".

Video showed that the perp threw the paper-wrapped sandwich from about five feet, and it fell to the pavement still wrapped in paper. It hardly "exploded".

Defense questioned the cop, who then said, well, there was a piece of onion on my radio antenna and I could smell mustard (the condiment, not the infamous WWI gas).

The cop also made a joke of the incident before the trial, adding a sticker to his car that reads "Footlong Felony". He also has a fake rubber sandwich on his office desk. Both came up in court.

None of that suggests he felt at any time he was in danger of bodily harm, so because Pirro had made the charge "felony", the jury ruled against her.

Pirro had tried to equate a sandwich strike from five feet onto a bulletproof vest to trying to hang the Vice President and beating cops with wood and metal poles (both of which,as we now know, are pardonable offenses and just "typical tourist behavior"). She was playing to an audience of one, and she failed. Again.

Better she go back to be a talking head on TV and driving drunk 120 mph, both of which she does better than adjudicate bad behavior (which Sandwich Guy did evidence).

I'm glad you clarified that, I was wondering how you don't get convicted for assault by throwing a hard object at someone.

Surely that intent flows from the act, anyone hit with a large and hard object would suffer bodily harm. How  there could not have been intent to cause bodily harm is hard to fathom.

Disgraceful miscarriage of justice.

Maybe it was a fresh sandwich.
In Oklahoma, you might not be used to soft fresh bread, but its common in some of the more affluent cities

Making up numbers which are big doesn't make them true.

Well, if it was soft bread no wonder he threw it away.

For a Sub you need a nice crusty baguette.

Soft bread is no good.

No.

The  employment agreement  will most likely have a good behaviour condition. Most everyone who has an employment agreement will have the conditions. Although throwing a sandwich at someone may not have been considered a criminal offence, it will most likely meet the the threshold for good conduct. It can be considered workplace misconduct if done  in the workplace, but this event occurred outside of a latin bodago night club and Mr. Dunn was not at work. (Hopefully not in that  pink outfit. He looked like he was  trying to impersonate Jimmy Somerville of Bronski Beat.)

image.png.ff55ea73b0a00cb48c2e22f556a99088.png

Federal pension vests after 5 years, so he would have had to have been there 5 years and a full time employee, not a contract worker.  Even if  an employee for 10 years,  his pension wouldn't be that much so it is doubtful he would be inflicting pain on anyone.

And no, I am not excusing this criminal charge. Of course it was doomed to failure. I think this was meant more to intimidate people and to show support for the  immigration agents. A sensible prosecutor would have declined to file criminal charges and just handled this with a disorderly conduct or a littering ticket and a requirement to pay the cleaning bills. The agent was not harmed, nor was he  too upset as it was treated a bit of a farce.

In the initial court proceedings, the victim, Agent Lairmore, testified  that he could feel the sandwich impact through his ballistic vest. “It kind of exploded all over,” the agent told the jury. “You could smell the onions and the mustard.” Lairmore also found onions strewn on his police radio, and his shirt was stained yellow from mustard, he claimed.

The incident became a joke with Lairmore and his co-workers, who gifted him a “felony footlong” patch and a plush sandwich, which the agent displayed “on top of my shelf in the office,” he told jurors.

Back in the day, standig up for justice against fascists would not have been seen as a sackable offence in the Department of Justice.  Back in the day, smelling onions was not considered sufficient to be a victim of assault.

Any American who is neither embarassed nor appalled by this pantomime need to LOOK BEHIND YOU!

Actually, it's debatable the officer in question even smelled the onions since he lied about being splattered with them.

Thanks for the video.
In these tempestous times, it would be easy to lose sight of the great police efforts to maintain law and order in the face of Federal interference.

I think there are a lot of people that would love to see more of these attacks by deli sandwich. After all they're fairly harmless the worst that could happen is that a federal agent gets a little mustard on their uniform. If the sandwich thrower (American hero) is lucky, perhaps they get some mustard on their face.

It is a great way of showing disapproval when the FEDS step so far over the line, and invade American cities, and behave like domestic, government sponsored terrorists.

After watching the video, nothing about the 'assault', only a deflection?
