If they cause an issue tell them your on the way to immigration to clear the overstay.

My name, surname and date of birth are all under my old passport. They don't ask me to update, but I want to do as no wanna have issues with the bank.

I have never updated anything regards sim and new pp, however I don't use bank app. 

 

You are leaving tomorrow.. 

At that point your overstay will be cleared. 

Sort out the sim next time you are in Thailand with valid permission of stay.

To be fair I never used it to transfer money. I download it just the day I know my rent money will come in and after uninstall again. So phone verification it's just for who use the application for transfer money?

AIS never looked at my visa or permission of stay, they just took a photo of the personal data page.

Mate, you don’t even need to visit their office. All information can be updated online via mobile app from everywhere in the world. Which I did recently. Even SIM user can be changed. Never visa required. Just passport main page scan, face recognition and sms verification. After that you can download certificate stated the phone number is registered on your name and passport and show it in any Thai bank if it’s required.

Dtac but updated info via True app. AIS app has similar option in menu also.

Yes, the True app can create the ownership "certificate" that the DTAC app cannot.

 

I haven't found where a similar ownership "certificate" can be created in the AIS app.

I meant “update prepaid sim user” menu. Not sure about certificate because never used this option in AIS app.

I understand. Having just used the AIS app to update with my new passport, the only place I saw name, passport number and phone number displayed together was a confirmation screen towards the end of a successful update. It doesn't seem to be a something that can be reproduced from a menu item like the True app can.
