Chanthaburi police have arrested a 34-year-old content creator accused of using methamphetamine and producing pornographic videos which he then distributed via social media.

On 5 September, under the supervision of Pol. Col. Akkapong Sunthornvipat, Deputy Commander of Chanthaburi Provincial Police, and Pol. Col. Peerapol Selarat, Head of the Criminal Investigation Division, officers from the Chanthaburi Provincial Police, together with Makham Police Station, executed a court-approved search at the suspect’s residence.

The suspect, identified only as T. for legal reasons, was detained and several items were seized, including a set of drug paraphernalia, a mobile phone, a 1TB storage device and a computer.

During questioning, T. admitted to both using illegal drugs and creating pornographic content. He reportedly arranged meetings via social media platforms such as X, with individuals for sexual activity, which he then filmed and shared online.

Authorities have charged T. with two offences: possession of a Class 1 narcotic (methamphetamine) and violations of the Computer Crimes Act 2017. Specifically, he is accused of uploading obscene content accessible to the public under Section 14(4) and distributing such material under Section 14(5).

The suspect and the seized items have been handed over to Makham Police Station for further legal proceedings.
