Just wait and see when china gets more influence to do surveillance on their allies, and can map every single thing you do.

I think the problem is if they generate mountains of data, to interpret that data will become impossible.

Unless they use AI that is very advanced possibly.

  • There is no porn made in Thailand....everyone knows that.

  • That’s a clever newbie question Brian   If you film prostitutes yes, or any thai citizen and get caught it is illegal. So better not be naughty and film your bar ladies while you doing them

  • Depends on the nature of the porn. Take us through the specific genres you downloaded.

With AI they can process as much data as possible and filter through the most essential and my best guess they do not need to justify it and store huge data for later.

You just gets your credits as you go, and it seems you have no rights whatsoever to clean yourselves unless you admit your fours, serve your time as black listed, and start from scratch again.

Everything you buy that can be added to your home WiFi, can in theory keep track of all your habits, not only Chinese products.

You know the feeling when adds pops up on your screen, and you just talked about that product with someone? Coincidence?

Yah, but there is a world of difference between you posting on Israel on Asean now and Youtube then targeting real estate ads in Israel your way, on the one hand, and China collecting information about your porn habits in Thailand, sifting through all your websites, and contacting Thai authorites. I don't think the latter is a serious risk, even if they use AI.

Everybody. Well, if you like your porn in full movies, complete and of high quality, to a bespoke subject.

It's actually more dangerous to view online, as your ISP can track what you download. However, if you downloaded they can't obviously track you after you downloaded.

Downloading porn is actually criminalised in Thailand.

If your that way inclined use a VPN, I don't watch porn but it enables me to have a bet on a few horses I have shares in. At the moment my VPN is now in New York because I'm about to view a Tubi Movie even though I'm in Thailand at the moment.

Im not talking about right now, but things can escalate out other reasons, and they you got the tools available for making drastic changes for control of the citizens and aliens.

There is a reason why the banks now require a phone number that is registered on you, right?

You should use VPN anyway, for that, but if you just watch on free websites, you have to trawl through gallons of sub-par porn.

If you're an experienced user like me, there are much better ways to get your porn than trawling through unpredictable tube sites.

Right now, I think the risk of enforcement of those download prohibitions are very low. The Thais wouldn't need China for it, they could just ask the ISP's to furnish data. But it would be such an administrative nightrmare they would soon stop enforcing it.

And China has no beef doing t hat now anyway.

well think about it, USA do make surveillance on European citizens with American made software. Im not thinking about porn, but for governments to make surveillance on peoples opinoins, and anti government activity when governments now slowly restrict individual freedom.

I wonder if the OP is 56 years old, or is there more to be read into his username?

It is a problem, we all know that our OWN governments routinely monitor us when we drive on the motorways. I'm not talking speed cameras but real surveillance cameras at regular intervals.

So this does happen.

This means you do have to be very careful, and not get into trouble with the law, not join organizations that are known to be problematic. I don't have any problem with it, as I know my slate is clean. People don't buy an Amazon echo, because they say Amazon spies on you. But so what, if they did, it'd not cause me any issues.

The thing about porn, is that it is so widespread, at least half the population of the US watch porn, so hundreds of millions of people. So even if you wanted to enforce something, it'd be nigh on impossible. Due to sheer numbers.. It's like everyone is standing up and saying "Yes, I  am Spartacus and I watch porn".

The next question, who needs porn physically stored on their computer today?

I've never really understood the legal difference/definition between 'stored' on your computer, versus 'downloaded'. While 'stored' is pretty clear - you have an MPEG etc., of a porn physically taking up space on your computer. But if you click on a link, and watch the video is that the same as 'downloading' it and, by extension, is that also the same as 'storing' memory of the URL? Is the history of the viewing the same as having it stored?

Porn is like weed, alchohol or any other recreational substance or habits it is necessary in a society to keep the heat in the masses down 😉

Anyway, in more radical societies you ban all the bad stuff, give them other reasons to focus on, and what is better than hating your enemy and prepare for the eventually events coming down

It's the difference between possession, having it on your hard drive, and downloading it onto a computer system, like when you download data from pornhub onto your ISP's network in Thailand. The latter is criminalized in Thailand with 5 years prison and over 2000 USD fine under the Computer Crimes Act.

Posession for trade, is criminalised under another law alltogether.

I have no idea, but everyone can accidentally click on a video they didn’t intend to or a picture for that sake?

So maybe this is why some nations where porn is illegal are so radical? Not enough release through porn.

Personally, I'm convinced if the state ran subsidised brothels, you wouldn't have mass shootings and if all men could have their sexual needs met then these relationship drama cases where a guy kills himself would also be far lesss.

Even the most radical muslim states you have brothels bor locals and also the contract workers. Emirates is no exception.

So clicking on a link of a porn site is a criminal offence? If so, why don't the Thai ISPs simply block access to them? Aren't they aiding and abetting the crime if that's true?

Yes, but Emirates isn't very radical. It's the least radical in that part of the world I'd say.

It is in Thailand. Under the Computer Crimes Act, you're not allowed to download porn onto any computer system.

Thai ISPs do block acceess sometimes, but they can't do it for all sites, it's too much work.

Indeed they are aiding and abetting.

Your ISP and government agencies can also monitor your traffic, and your ISP almost certainly keeps a log of all sites you visited and what you clicked there.

But not to fear, it's not enforced at all here at the moment.

Where women being prosecuted for being raped? Isn’t radical enough?

I can only speak for those places I have been, and not been to any other muslim states except being in the desert for activities not related to women.

Sure, it's not good - fully agree. But compared to most of its neighbours - except maybe Jordan - you can buy/drink alcohol, and prostituion seems fairly open by Middle Eastern standards. That's what I meant.

I suppose the safest thing you could do is to spend hours and hours  downloading the porn you like in your home country, where it's legal to download, then enter Thailand with a couiple  of 8TB hard drives, and then just watch that porn and never download or view porn whilst in Thailand.

Or you could try and stop playing with yourself so often ?

16tb of porn. Talk about chafing.

Exactly, the Thai girl I'm talking to now from Phuket also says she watches porn and claims everyone does it.

Well, you'd have to have enough for however long you'd stay in Thailand. Nothing worse than watching the same porn over and over again.

Way more than I would need with my stamina.

Well, you don't need porn, strictly speaking, it's a matter of choice.

If you have 2x  8TB covering every genre of porn, you have a  great choice.

So you wouldnt' need to view or download porn online, which is illegal in Thailand.
