I'm sure the indigenous population will consider themselves forever in your debt once you expose this bombshell to them. I mean who would have thought it?  Politicians profiting from corruption here in Thailand , the land of smiles.   and right under the noses of an unsuspecting electorate who don't have a clue what's going on

You switch the subject to "indigenous population". Thus a waste of time to respond. Thank you and good bye.

We've been told numerous times...a wealthy family and the Sino-Thai construction company

Bank accounts, as the OP very clearly stated.

What a good invester. 😄

From the OP...

"Anutin Charnvirakul has disclosed assets worth 3.9 billion baht"

Judging by your daft laughing emoji, you must be a better investor than he is?

why so many politicians, who are far from being smart can amass such large fortunes! The answer is simple because it was gained by illegal methods,

Really?   How did Anutin's family "illegally" accrue its wealth, then?

Among other assets, Anutin owns multiple properties, luxury vehicles, collectible watches, amulets, and historic Benjarong porcelains. His connections and influence have reportedly grown due to his royalist alignment, potentially enhancing his position above military-backed party leaders.

And corruption wealth like this

What corruption wealth?

That was not a quote of Anutin's words.

And it will pass on to their own Nepo Kids. Really, he's a Nepo Kid too - just an older one.

And why not, are claiming that you would not do the same for your family if you were in a position to do so?

Why does anyone need over 20 bank accounts?

In. case one of the banks goes bankrupt, I guess.

Google it, and you will understand the relevance. Nobody's gonna say it here though.

It always amazes me that when people his age and are this wealthy, why they even bother getting into politics? Why don't don't they just fly around the world in their private jets, or cruise in their luxury yachts, and just enjoy the rest of their lives?

I have.  What's the relevance of those entities owning the bank?

you referred to "the poor population" in one post and "the general population" in another

My reference to "the indigenous" population clearly indicates I am referring to exactly the same people,

You are obviously way out of your depth and I commend you for doing the sensible thing and disappearing quietly.    Although your claim that I changed the subject is somewhat laughable and nearly as ridiculous of your claim to understand corruption in Thai politics better than "the population"

After you have money you crave power

No, but when you're a billionaire several time over, your grasps on poverty amount to zero, in days of yore, rulers used

to disguise themself as ordinary person and walk among their people, see and feel the need of the people,

nowdays, well, they still might take the odd trip here and there, but in a limousine and bodyguards.

Well in the UK they took it one step further and promoted an unmarried mother of a council estate to the position of deputy prime minister. That didn't work out too well for them though as she soon reverted to type, after all avoiding stamp duty is no different than benefit fraud.   Some people are just not cut out for government leadership, those that are, will normally already be successful in their chosen profession or business

Would you seriously expect a prime minister , of any country, to tour around without security ? What transport should he use, ? a honda click?

The boredom would soon get to them, they would probably end up moaning on internet forums (between happy hours of course)

You (and a few others) know that does not mean he keeps B1.09 in bundles of notes, yes?

You mean you NOW know. Since your typically petulant and dismissive attitude is wearisome, it's warming to see that I piqued your interest sufficiently enough for you to actually go and check this out, all by yourself. My work is done here.

Hopefully, some of the less pedantic will do the same.

I said "why so many" i did not pick a particular name! As far as his wealth is concerned and based on how much he now owns that could still be questionable.

I will maybe disappear one day. But I assure you with your dribble reply it will not happen soon!

So what was your point by mentioning it?  He has investments in a bank - so what?
