The incident occurred after he hired two individuals for company but was confronted by four transgender individuals demanding ฿10,000 each. Police Dismantle Fake ID Gang, Arrest 10 Including Officials

Police have dismantled a criminal network producing fake national ID cards, arresting 10 people including six state officials, for their involvement in enabling foreign nationals to obtain fraudulent Thai identities. The arrests were announced on 12 September 2025 by the Crime Suppression Division (CSD) following an operation in Pathum Thani and Nonthaburi. Officials confirmed that several pieces of evidence were seized and all suspects were transferred to investigators for prosecution.

Safari World Closes Dangerous Animal Zone After Lion Attack

At 13.00 on 12 September 2025, Chanpriya Chaiwan, a former anchor at a well-known news station, arrived at the Consumer Protection Police Division (CPPD) to report the case. Police in Lopburi are investigating a tragic case in which a 52-year-old shop owner shot his teenage son dead before later taking his own life at a resort. The incidents occurred between 10 and 11 September, leaving the mother as the sole survivor. Authorities confirmed the man, identified as Mr. Chanachot, was found dead at a resort in Phatthana Nikhom district on the evening of 11 September.

Body of Man in Military-Style Trousers Found in Mun River

A decomposed male body wearing military-style trousers was discovered floating in the Mun River near the Phanom Dong Rak border in Surin province on 12 September. The body was found around 11.00, about one kilometre west of Ban Khok Bot village, after locals reported the sighting to village headman Prasit Khruesri. Police from Phanom Dong Rak Police Station and rescue workers were called to the scene.

Patum Thani Official Arrested for Bribery Over Building Permits

On 11 September, the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) and police arrested Mr Veerachet, Director of the Public Works Department at Lak Hok Subdistrict Municipality, Patum Thani, for soliciting a total of 390,000 baht in bribes for construction permits. The arrest took place at his office after a coordinated investigation with undercover evidence provided by the complainant.
