Tom Homan, Border Czar & Sleazeball

Featured Replies

Trump Justice Dept. Closed Investigation Into Tom Homan for Accepting Bag of Cash

Tom Homan, who was later named President Trump’s border czar, was recorded in September 2024 accepting a bag with $50,000 in cash in an undercover F.B.I. investigation, according to people familiar with the case, which was later shut down by Trump administration officials.

The cash payment, which was made inside a bag from the food chain Cava, grew out of a long-running counterintelligence investigation that had not been targeting Mr. Homan, according to the people, who spoke on condition of anonymity to describe the case.

Mr. Homan’s encounter with the undercover agents, recorded on audiotape, led him to be investigated for potential bribery and other crimes, after he apparently took the money and agreed to help the agents — who were posing as businessmen — secure future government contracts related to border security, the people said.

  • And given that your understanding is based on no evidence, I think it's safe to say that it's a delusion, at best.

  • I love Tom Homan.    All the sudden the left is concerned about bags of cash...

  • Which is why he is at the moment a sleazeball and not a convicted criminal.

"Justice Department officials ultimately decided that the evidence against Mr. Homan was insufficient to support charges of wire fraud, bribery or conspiracy, the people said."

As I understand it, it was a sting operation arraigned by some of George Soros lackeys in Biden's DOJ

Did you miss the part about Holman accepting $50,000 in cash?

I missed the part about what happened to the money.

I also missed the part about what the money was for.

I also missed the part about him being convicted.

I also missed the part about why we are just hearing about it now.

What is clear, was that the Biden DOJ was trying to get him.

So he didn't accept 50000 us?

But you know, we'd better treat him the way he treats potential criminals: send him to an anonymous prison in El Salvador while it can be sorted.

I know that "Mr. Homan came under scrutiny after he was said to be recorded last year taking $50,000 in cash from undercover F.B.I. agents."

It does not say he took $50,000 in cash.

Why, is he in the county illegally?

So, the Biden DOJ did not have enough to charge him, and the Times runs a hit-piece a year later that is supposed to convince me.

Good luck chasing down every politician who is not squeaky clean.

Who isn't greasing their pockets? Name me one person.

Who cares?

As long as there are decent jobs and the whole country is not falling apart and you don't get murdered on your way to work, you're good to go.

To the title ... Czar ?

... doesn't sound like a Russian name to me :coffee1:

Syndrome therapy should be available somewhere.  Try to get some sleep 😎

The payment was tied to a broader counterintelligence probe, not initially focused on Homan. Investigators reportedly began their inquiry into Homan after their initial target had independently suggested that a payment to Homan would help the supposed contractors secure government business.

I'm sorry, but I simply cannot accept that a noble public servant such as Mr Homan, of such standing in the annals of United States Law Enforcement, a man who radiates sincerity, compassion and love for all humanity, a man whose every act is predicated by an earnest desire for jusice and a rigid adherence to his country's constitution, a man through whose veins runs the very milk of human kindness, could in any way be implicated in such a shameful business!

If it should be proven, then I shall rend my garments, and retire, amidst wailing and gnashing of teeth, to live the life of a hermit, deeply saddened and dissilusioned!

@KhunLA I think the syndrome is the posting of utter 💩 before even doing a cursory amount of research.

That syndrome is perhaps yours.

After 2018, he began contributing to Fox News as a commentator. Homan joined the Heritage Foundation in February 2022 and became a contributor to its Project 2025.

Homan was recorded accepting a bag full of $50,000 in cash from undercover FBI agents in September 2024.[4]

In November 2024, then president-elect Donald Trump designated Homan as "border czar" for Trump's second presidency.[1]

Just a den of criminals...

I can't tell if this idiot is drunk or mentally handicapped (both?).

And I cannot understand a word he says. He speaks like he has a mouth full of marbles.

And what a JackA$$. $50,000? Seriously? trump should boot him if only for the paltry sum his "honor" is worth.

Why would I bother reading the OP's drivel & hate.   The use of 'Czar' tells me everything I need to know about the OP, and don't see any of his/her/it's drivel.   Along with most of the haters & syndrome affected.  Can never get that time back, and have a life to live.

Don't live in the USA, as neither do most of them haters or sufferers, so why would I care about who is holding any job there.

Maybe still trying to think of a witty rebuttal ... good luck with that one.

This is what happens when you are wildly successful at performing the duties assigned by the President. Homan is doing a great job, he is a no BS guy and lives for his agents. A patriot.

So of course his foes on the deranged side of the political spectrum have to dredge up whatever filth they can find.

Not sure what you're trying to say on this topic so next time maybe wait with commenting till your high wears out?

At the time Homan accepted the cash (all on CCTV by the way) he wasn't a government employee so why would Biden target him?

He was......I know, this is hard to believe.........a contributor to Fox News, affiliated with the Heritage Foundation, involved in Project 2025 and publicly promoting his expected role in future immigration enforcement, including mass deportations.

The DOJ closed the investigation down, not because he was a Trump flunky???? or that he didn't actually receive the cash.......but because there was no concrete evidence he was going to perform a specific task in return for the money.

As the case was closed down, no further attempts were made to recover the $50,000......its whereabouts remain uncertain (my ar*se).

So every allegation of criminality makes when a sleaze ball? Like Barack Obama with cocaine, Bill Clinton with Epstein, Hillary Clinton with numerous deaths, Martin Luther King as a communist agent, got it once you're accused that's it

"Tom Homan, Border Czar & Sleazeball"

"Justice Department officials ultimately decided that the evidence against Mr. Homan was insufficient to support charges of wire fraud, bribery or conspiracy".

And you're calling him a sleazeball!

He's a "sleazeball"  because there's no evidence of his doing anything wrong?  Really?  He's  the sleazeball?
