The NATO tripwire policy involves the positioning of armed forces from multiple NATO nations, not just America alone.

Lip service that will change by the seconds. Meanwhile France, Denmark, UK and Germany are bolstering the Esatern flank with fighter planes and troops. Trump is all talk and no action as far as Putin is concerned.

Not Russia or anybody else cares if a handful of UK, French, or German troops are there. The entire concept depends on bringing in the US. Otherwise, western Europe would have to spend more money.

Western Europe is mobilizing without asking Trump participation which he has already indicated will be questionable. NATO and other allies have also planned GDP increases for increased military spending. Trump has shown as POTUS his support is not reliable.
