For feck sakes Susan, how many more threads do we need about his boring videos? Nobody cares. We all get it, you’re obsessed and stalking the guy, but leave the rest of us out of your man-crush. Total nonsense. Everyone knows his channel exists already, no need to keep promoting it.

What did you think of the capital?

This video was truly captivating. I appreciate the effort you put into posting the link.  Thank you!

I thought Vientiane had a 1970s feel to it

You've been there 40 times?

My first visit was 30 years ago in 1995. I made it all the way up to Muang Sing. Its often said single men here in SEA for only one thing. I dunno I loved the travel and temples. The food options in Northern Lao and Myanmar, Eastern Cambodia were challenging. A pizza on Khao Sarn every eight weeks was a treat. I was living and traveling on avg 850usd pm all in, hard budget. Few regrets, especially early years.

So where is the OP who started this gem of a topic to explain why this mind numbing thread was even worth posting? I suppose Susan is only capable of copying and pasting YouTube links without including a shred of original thought as to why anyone should care about yet another cookie cutter video of Vientiane at night. At this rate he might as well rename himself the town crier of recycled drivel.

That's more than my monthly budget 30 years later here in north Laos 🙂 .  You must have been living like a king!

My one and only trip to Vientiane was ok but I'd never go there again. I noticed that people spoke very quietly as they were worried some one would dob them in to gain points with the regime. I had no problem as my Thai wife speaks fluent Laos because her father was from Vientiane. He done a runner when the s**t hit the fan many years ago in Laos. I found the food and the bars ok but I never checked out the pussy as I was married for around 12 years at that time. All in all it's worth a holiday there but don't stay to long as after one week you'll want to get out as quick as possible.

It has a great imagination/Internet connection!

Yesterday I was buying a shirt in the local market in Luang Prabang. The female market seller and her other female friends were so inquisitive!  They wanted to know why I was in Laos, was I married, how many wives/ex-wives, how many kids did I have, where were my kids, did I want to marry again (because the stall-holder was single and likes older foreigners) !

Jeez, I never knew buying a shirt would be like the Spanish Inquisition.....
