Hi, trying to help a friend of mine who asks this:

 

Hello, your help is much appreciated! 

I entered Thailand on August 30th with the plan of getting an exempt visa as my Italian passport allows. I was also here from December 2024 to June 2025 (on exempt visas)

At BKK airport they questioned me asked me to buy a ticket to leave Thailand and gave me only 45 days instead of the usual 60 days. 

I would like to apply for a DTV visa, but at the moment, I don’t have the required funds in my bank account for at least 3 months. 

I am going to India for 3 weeks now, and my question is: Do you think I can apply for a METV to come back to Thailand, and meanwhile get my papers sorted, to then apply for a proper DTV?

Advice for METV and DTV is readily available on AseanNow. 

Ask specific questions if serious.

I am serious, this is not a wind up. I have a friend who asked me about DTV visa. I personally don't need it. if anyone could help or post a link where i can find help, please let me know, thank you.

correct, there is me with an Israeli passport, and there is my friend, a woman (not imaginary) who asked me today to ask on her behalf.  just asking for a couple of links to help, thank you,
