MADRID (Reuters) -Spain's Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez said on Wednesday he will join Italy in sending a military warship to protect an international flotilla seeking to deliver aid to Gaza after it was attacked by drones off Greece.

 

Sanchez told a press conference in New York where he has been attending the UN General Assembly that the citizens of 45 countries were on board to deliver food to the population of Gaza and express solidarity with their suffering.

 

"The government of Spain insists that international law be respected and that the right of our citizens should be respected to sail through the Mediterranean in safe conditions," he said. "Tomorrow we will dispatch a naval vessel from Cartagena with all necessary resources in case it was necessary to assist the flotilla and carry out a rescue operation."

Well, this should be interesting.

 

Very sensible too, after all, with Ukraine and Russia at war, what we need is a European - Israeli war clearly to even things out.

I bet this isn't what Israel expected when they sent the drones.

Are they sending the Nina, the Pinta or the Santa Maria?

 

The Spanish flotilla has been stocked with all essential items for the journey, red capes, banderillas and 20 bulls.

As Israel is not a member of NATO, if they do attack citizens of NATO Countries would that be an act of war, where an attack on one member is an attack on all NATO countries?

They deliver aid and Hamas takes most of it again.

No way did I say that any navel vessels will enter Israeli waters, but all drone attacks have been outside said waters.

What I was saying, is, if Israel sends Drones over this flotilla in International waters, that will be an act of war.

NATO will not get involved unless Israel directly attacks Spain which is so unlikely to be practicaly non existent.
