Thailand will host the Amway Leadership Seminar – Bangkok in March–April 2026, welcoming over 10,000 representatives from Amway China in what will be the company’s largest organisational meeting in Southeast Asia. The event will feature the “Slow Living” Travel Experience concept, combining business meetings with cultural activities in Bangkok and coincides with the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Thailand and China.

The announcement was made by the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) during IT&CM Asia and CTW Asia-Pacific 2025. The event will run from 4 March to 13 April 2026, and marks over two decades of cooperation between TCEB, Amway China and Thai partners. Thailand first hosted Amway China’s leadership seminar in 1997, making the upcoming event a milestone in a longstanding partnership.

TCEB will provide support including coordination with government agencies, immigration services via MICE Lane for VIP guests, cultural performances and special privileges through business partners. The “Bangkok Slow Living” programme will offer riverfront experiences, meditation activities, Thai cuisine tasting, luxury hotel stays with wellness treatments and cultural immersion to showcase authentic Thai lifestyle.

Dr Supawan Teerarat, TCEB Director, stated: “We are honoured to welcome Amway China back to Thailand. Hosting over 10,000 participants demonstrates strong Thai–Chinese relations and affirms Thailand’s capacity to deliver innovative MICE experiences. This event is a significant step for Thailand’s MICE and tourism industry and reinforces the country as a premium destination.”

Tourism Authority of Thailand Governor Thapanee Kiatphaiboon added: “Bangkok offers a unique blend of tradition and modernity. The seminar will immerse attendees in local culture, from street food heritage to hidden temples and artisan crafts, reflecting true experiential tourism.”

The event is expected to generate substantial economic impact, with projections of 858 million baht in revenue and the creation of over 860 jobs in hospitality, catering, transport, and event services. Estimated tax revenue is 38 million baht, underscoring the strategic role of MICE tourism in Thailand’s economy.

Thailand is preparing with comprehensive safety measures, VIP immigration services and logistical coordination to ensure a secure and welcoming environment. This event also celebrates 50 years of Thai–Chinese diplomatic relations, reinforcing Bangkok’s role as a “Bridge of Friendship” between the two nations.

This is hilarious! Amway..it's very name a contraction of "American Way", the quintessential American capitalist pyramid operation thriving in Communist China.  Over the years, Amway has been the most "Red, White and Blue" of any company in the USA so seeing the "Chinese Reds" holding an Amway "Leadership Conference" defies logic.

The World has indeed flip-flopped!
