Police have arrested a 50-year-old man known as “Pui Huai Khwang” for fatally stabbing his friend in Din Daeng, Bangkok, on 2 October 2025. The suspect was detained under Criminal Court warrant number 5800/2568 on charges of murder. He allegedly attacked the victim following a heated dispute, claiming he had been mocked for being poor.

The incident occurred near Soi Prachasongkroh 21 on Prachasongkroh Road, Din Daeng district. At around midday, Din Daeng Police received reports of a stabbing and officers rushed to the scene. They found 51-year-old Saneh, lying on the road with severe stab wounds to the left side of his abdomen.

Rescue workers transported the victim to Rajavithi Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. Initial police investigations confirmed that he had sustained two deep stab wounds. Witness accounts and rapid evidence gathering helped investigators quickly identify the suspect.

The case was overseen by Police General Kittirat Phanphet, Commissioner-General of the Royal Thai Police, alongside Metropolitan Police Chief Lieutenant General Siam Boonsom and Division 1 Commander Police Major General Warasak Pisitbannakorn. Division 1 Commander Warasak, newly appointed just one day earlier, ordered an urgent investigation and expedited efforts to track down the perpetrator.

Within hours, detectives traced and arrested the suspect. He was taken into custody and transferred to Din Daeng Police Station for questioning and legal proceedings. Police confirmed he will face prosecution under the law for the fatal stabbing.

He obviously didn't like "FRIENDS".

Those Phuket bars sound like lots of fun.

For the anti-weed brigade, had they been smoking pot instead of drinking they would both be alive and no one would be facing a grim future in the slammer
