Thai Air Asia X Refund

Featured Replies

Just this afternoon my bank account was mysteriously credited from whom I had no idea.

Checking my online transactions did not provide any information as to where or whom  this money had come from.

Phoning the Call Centre in Bangkok , they didn't know either but told me they would investigate and call me back.

Received the call back shortly thereafter and learned that the payment had been made by Air Asia. ..WTF!!

Last night I made a booking to fly with them next month to Japan , but the amount that I paid for that flight did not match up with the amount refunded..

After a lot of delving back in time , I discovered a flight that I had booked on 5th May 2022 , that they had cancelled , but never refunded , I had completely forgotten/Given up on ever getting my money back and that had after about a year just disappeared of the "My Cases" tab on the web site matched the amount refunded today 6th October 2025

I remember at the time when I was trying to get them to refund me , receiving promises that they were doing everything in order to"expedite my refund"

3 years & 5 months later , hats off to Air Asia on a job eventually done. 🎉

I prefer VietJet Air and those fine female cabin attendants in bikinis.
