No the money that these Israelis were ripping off the poor Thais was fake, they were exchanging it for real money that is accepted.

$100 dollar bills is the prefered counterfeit note.  I guess the $50 note is now getting attractive as well.  The notes must have been pretty good if GSB exchanged them.
