I know this topic is discussed frequently but I hope I can add some definitive information.

 

I have a Kasikorn Bank account.  Wise transfers to it usually happen almost immediately.  Today, I transferred 34,000 baht from Wise to a friend's Bangkok Bank account.  It said that it would be transferred tomorrow (Thursday), i.e. a 24-hour delay.  As a test, I then immediately transferred the same amount into my partner's KBank account - it was completed in five seconds, as mine usually are.

 

So, KBank is great for Wise transfers.  Bangkok Bank - less so.  If you suffer delays to your bank, open a KBank account.

Krungsri bank (I now use Biz online) which I have been using now for approx 4 years.  Transfer from Wise within seconds.  Has never failed me.

Totally agree. BBL for 30 years, often wonder why it is so slow. Opened K Bank early this year and now route anything involving RoW through it. Wise in particular is now extremely impressive - seconds instead of a weekend, or 3 days, or whatever the ____s in Bangkok Bank feel like.

 

I have a question too, though: does the same apply for OUTgoing transfers?

 

I have never done a THB to EUR (or USD) using K Bank and Wise.  If I send THB to my THB wallet in Wise, does it take forever to get to someone in Europe in EUR? (Like Bangkok Bank?)
