SINGAPORE - Best in Class for Covid-19 Uptake + Excess Mortality

Featured Replies

So what’s the result of hyper-vaccinating almost an entire population with the earliest batch of contaminated gene therapy?

Check out this gut-punch chart from Our World in Data, stacking all-cause deaths against the usual pre-2020 baseline.

Flat as a board through early COVID in 2020—no shots yet. Then wham: As Singapore’s mRNA gene therapy blitz hits late 2020 and blasts to 85%+ coverage by mid-2021, excess deaths (that red line sneaking above zero—extra bodies beyond the norm for hearts, cancers, etc.) start creeping up.

It explodes around Q3 2021, and by Q2 2023, Singapore ranked number one in the world in terms of excess deaths at a staggering 37% above trend. By end of 2023, cumulative excess deaths was 4 times (9000+) more than COVID deaths (2000+). “Safe and Effective”.

All excess deaths in Singapore linked to recent COVID infection: Study

A new report from the country’s Ministry of Health attributes the increased death rate to COVID-19’s aggravation of existing illnesses.

22 Sep 2022

"No pattern of excess deaths has been found among people without a recent COVID-19 infection in Singapore, the country’s health authority has stated.

A report on excess mortality published this week by Singapore’s Ministry of Health details a higher than usual number of deaths in the country from 2020 to June 2022.

...

They also highlighted the impact of vaccination, finding that 28% of deaths attributed to COVID-19 in the first half of 2022 were among patients who were not fully vaccinated, a disproportionate total when set against the 5% of the population not fully vaccinated by mid-March this year.

No Evidence Excess Deaths Linked to Vaccines, Contrary to Claims Online

Posted on April 17, 2023

"COVID-19 vaccines substantially reduce the risk of dying from COVID-19, and serious side effects are very rare. Excess deaths among working-age adults in 2021 and 2022 were driven by COVID-19 and other factors, not vaccination. Faulty logic underlies claims that vaccines caused mass disability and economic harm."

Oh no! Factcheck again.

The most authentic site in the history of the internet?

Where are you Tabs? Sorry pussy cat, I have to kick you.

Per the Singapore government's own statement:

"There are two ways to reduce excess deaths associated with COVID-19 pandemic: First is vaccination. [emphasis added]

COVID-19 vaccination plays a big part, because it significantly reduces the risk that infections translate into severe illness and deaths. The fact that Singapore got 93% of our population vaccinated, and that base includes children that are not eligible, and 80% boosted, is a key reason why we have low excess deaths. [emphasis added]

In the same vein, in Singapore and elsewhere in the world, unvaccinated persons disproportionately contributed to COVID-19 deaths. In the first half of 2022, about 5% of eligible population are not fully vaccinated, but they contributed to 28% of COVID-19 deaths. [emphasis added]

No, COVID-19 vaccines aren’t gene therapy

December 23, 2022

CLAIM: The COVID-19 vaccines “are a gene therapy, NOT a vaccine.”

AP’S ASSESSMENT: False. The COVID-19 vaccines do not change a person’s genes, as gene therapy does, experts say. The shots from Pfizer and Moderna use messenger RNA, or mRNA, to instruct the body to create a protein from the coronavirus. [emphasis added]

Yep, a September 2022 report ending Q2 of 2022, just before Excess Mortality exploded in Singapore.

Yep, an October 2022 statement by the Singapore government with a lame excuse on the rise in Q2 2022 excess mortality.

As mentioned before this was just before excess mortality exploded in Singapore.

Probably the disingenuous reason why you didn't mention the date of that Singapore government statement...

The future of excess mortality after COVID-19

September 2024

...

"Respiratory mortality from COVID-19 is the largest cause of excess deaths
Respiratory mortality accounts for the largest share of excess deaths each year since 2020.
Despite declining testing, COVID-19 is considered the primary factor behind this. In the US, respiratory mortality (COVID-19 and other respiratory deaths) accounted for 63.2% of all excess deaths during the pandemic years 2020–2023, the highest share of all causes of death. However, excess respiratory deaths have fallen every year from a peak of 76.5% in 2020, to 20.1% by 2023."

...

Singapore excess deaths, based on a flat baseline of mortality as observed in 2019, are
now led by CVD [cardiovascular disease]
, but the reporting authority has repeatedly changed methodology.11 The Department of Statistics in Singapore found 39% excess mortality from cardiovascular causes, 35% respiratory and 10% cancer deaths in 2023. Singapore initially classified deaths differently to other countries at the start of the pandemic, attributing many COVID-19 deaths to non-COVID-19 causes. In 2020 this led to a higher reporting of excess mortality, with 114% cardiac deaths, 34% cancer deaths and –46% respiratory deaths. We believe that its reporting is now in line with international norms." [emphasis added]

"Though COVID-19 has evolved to an endemic disease, the factors that drove excess
mortality during the peak pandemic years continue to influence mortality rates today and
in the future."

Notice, NOWHERE in Swiss Re's analysis of excess mortality during  and after the peak of COVID do they give any relevance to COVID vaccination as a causal factor.

In this article Aussie17 is reporting on easily verifiable official figures about excess mortality in Singapore

Re his qualifications, he mentions:

#1 - A big part of my job back in Big Pharma (for those who don’t know, I worked in three of the top 5 pharmaceutical companies, plus one in the top 20) was spinning a good story around sales numbers for the bosses. Nail the narrative, and you’re golden for another year. Botch it, and you’re packing your desk. I’ve been knee-deep in drug sales data for close to 20 years, so I know when something smells off—like a trend that’s too steady to suddenly go haywire.

#2 - If you’re new to my takes, I’ve got a thing for using Singapore as a crystal ball for global health shifts—having worked there for almost a decade, as it serves as a regional hub for the Asia-Pacific for most of the top Big Pharma except Gilead, which is located in Hong Kong.

There's been tons of research on the ongoing issue of excess mortality during and after the pandemic, and none of it with any credibility -- as opposed to anonymous anti-vaxer conspiracy theorists -- blames COVID vaccines as the cause.

Vaccine Victory: How COVID-19 shots slash all-cause mortality and outshine misinformation

12 February 2024

"The accumulation of evidence solidly affirms that COVID-19 vaccines not only directly save lives by preventing virus-specific deaths but also play a crucial role in reducing all-cause mortality among vaccinated populations.

While claims about COVID-19 vaccines being associated with increased mortality have circulated, they are often based on misinterpretation of data, anecdotal evidence, or preliminary research that does not stand up to rigorous scientific scrutiny. [emphasis added]

The consensus among health authorities and scientific community is that COVID-19 vaccines are a critical tool in reducing mortality and severe illness from the virus, with the benefits significantly outweighing the risks."

https://www.globalvaccinedatanetwork.org/news/Vaccine_Victory_How_COVID-19_shots_slash_all-cause_mortality_and_outshine_misinformation

From the 3rd party source on excess mortality cited in the OP via his anonymous anti-vax blogger, the original source doesn't appear to rank Singapore at all on its list of countries with the most excess mortality into 2023, per the chart below, ranked by excess mortality rates for Q2 2023.

You added the comment to that posted link > Notice, NOWHERE in Swiss Re's analysis of excess mortality during  and after the peak of COVID do they give any relevance to COVID vaccination as a causal factor.

The topic we are discussing here is the explosion of excess mortality in Singapore since end of 2022.

For excess mortality (baseline 2019 or 2020) it is IRRELEVANT which cause of death was mentioned on the death certificate.

What matters is that with +1 year delay since the roll-out of the Covid-19 jabs, that excess mortality has been off the charts.
