Hi all.  I thought I read that the Kasikornbank Branch in the lower level at Chaeng Wattana has closed. Can someone confirm this ?

As stated above yes it's closed. 

Note CW accept Bank Letter and Bank Statements obtained prior to day of extension (up to 7 days) 

However note that at CW immigration want to see updated Bank book. 

A small deposit is best way to do this. 

Recently I did my extension at CW and obtained the letter and statement on the Monday and on Wednesday made small deposit into my account at local branch then onto CW for the big dance.

Can this be done via cash deposit machine?  That way there will be no need to wait for the branch to open and I could still get to CW early.

Yes it can.  Or just QR pay for something.  Or simply transfer money into or out of the account.  But whatever you do then go to the machine to update the book.

No problem. 

Just keep in mind that the branches in shopping malls have access governed by Mall hours. 

The branch I went to was street front and opened at 8.30am

It's too bad we can't pay the 1,900 baht for the extension via QR code, then show the immigration officer the balance right then and there.
