A pet owner in Sisaket is urgently seeking a new home for her two Siberian Huskies due to fears of escalating conflict near the Thai-Cambodian border. On October 17, 39-year-old Pairin Yodkhammee, residing in Ban Non Sawang village, made the difficult decision to put her dogs up for adoption. The village is located just seven kilometers from the tense border area.

The Huskies, a three-year-old female named Nong Huggy and her one-year-old son Nong Kopter, are described as playful and healthy. Pairin, who has raised the dogs since they were puppies, shared her concerns about potential evacuation, recalling a similar situation in 2015 when conflict forced her to leave her dogs behind temporarily.

While there have been no recent clashes, the fear of renewed tensions has left residents on edge. Pairin expressed her worry about who would care for her dogs in her absence, highlighting the deep emotional bond she shares with them.

She noted the economic impact of the border instability, which has affected her ability to provide for the pets. With the uncertainty lingering, Pairin is focused on securing a safe future for her beloved dogs with a caring new owner. Those interested in adopting the Huskies can contact Pairin at 084-801-9482.

As the situation remains unpredictable, Pairin hopes to find a loving home for her dogs where they can continue to be happy and playful, emphasizing her desire for their safety and well-being.
