Hi there. My Ford Everest needs a fairly serious repair. Ford has quoted 35K, but I know a local mechanic could get it done for a fraction of that price. Can anyone suggest a decent shop?

What sort of serious repair? Body work after a prang? Mechanical? Electrical? There's body shops, mechanics and technicians. Not all shops can do it all.
