Excessive pornography consumption may impair sexual health

Excessive pornography consumption may impair sexual health, warns Thai specialist

A Thai forensic-medicine expert cautions that heavy consumption of online pornography can lead to erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation and lower interest in real-life intimacy among younger men. He references a 2021 global study of 3,419 men aged 18-35 which found frequent pornography use was associated with a roughly 70% higher risk of erectile dysfunction. The expert explains that excessive viewing overstimulates the brain and blunts the response to real-world sexual interaction. He also warns of psychological effects such as increased stress and anxiety linked to heavy pornography habits. His advice for recovery: a “porn-detox” of about 90 days to allow the brain to reset and regain sensitivity.

Brain worms, hair on your palms, hair on chest for women, and you'll go blind.

I'm lucky--I have no interest in younger men...

"Frequent pornography use was associated with a roughly 70% higher risk of erectile dysfunction". Associated. Correlated?

I'd say legislative creep pushing ages or consent upwards are the major cause of erectile dysfunction. When the age of consent reaches 40 for women erectile dysfunction will be not far below 100%. And pornography (or cannabis or some other red herring) will be blamed with a vengeance.
