Bear in mind that the HK1 RBox X50 has an internal fan, so if you are sensitive to noise, you might wish to look elsewhere.

As my TV Box sits,on a USB Fan block = will free up a USB port

A half decent box doesn't need a fan, and Allwinner is crap

I have the previous version of the HK1 RBox (with the S905x? not Allwinner) with Android 10 and it got pretty hot so when I used it I turned it upside down.........

Other than that (and only being 32 bit) it is a great little box.

Like i said, a half decent box doesn't run hot, but for 1400 baht you buy a piece of crap. All those boxes have an X64 processor, but they run an X32 OS.

BTW an X64 OS runs hotter

Is difficult to know which one

was looking to spend up to Max 2,500 baht  - cannot see the point to pay 7,500 baht and more, as around this price can get a Mini PC or a Tablet + can use for more than just a TV

any suggestions in this price range  up-to-2,500 baht ??

For that price you will find a Mecool KM2 Plus  or a Kinhank G1. And if you want to pay a little more the Google TV streamer 4K

Mecool KM2 Plus runs on 2GB of RAM and Android 11. You are paying extra for Widevine Level 1. Fine if you need it and a waste of money if you don't.

Similarly the Kinhank G1, pointless paying 3,5k+ unless you are paying for NetFlix et al.

The TOX4 does what I need. Plays my 4k media, streamed or downloaded...and it's cheap. I can upgrade later with the money I saved.

That was a quick reincarnation JakeC

KM2 Plus runs on Android 14, as does the Kinhank G1

Tox4 is a problem box. If you want to get good info on  boxes look for the 4pda forum. You need to use the translate function, as it is in Russian

The last one  Meecool I had was Android 6.0 Marshmallow

Look a very low spec, even the so say Android 14  [3 -4,000 baht]  the same price range as the Android 11  + still sells around 2,000 baht....

oddly my T95 ran non stop yesterday for 4 hours,  notice they also sell the T95 with Android 14.,  in all the years I have had my Android 11 T95 never had a problem, just appears very slow + a couple of Apps will not load or update as 11 no longer supported

BTW the Kinhank G1 cost 2393 baht, less if you use some vouchers., so not 3500 baht as claimed. If you want some info from someone with an agenda, listen to JakeC

The difference is the quality and support.

It has DDR4 RAM, doesn't run hot, and neither has a fan inside.

It receives frequent updates, because it is official Android TV. The boxes bought with Android TV 11 automatically upgraded to ATV12 and now ATV14.

The Kinhank G1 is actually a better choice, because same price but has 4GB DDR4 RAM and 32GB memory. Also runs official ATV, so get firmware updates.

Take a look at the Chigz chart as he is the holly grail for it.

You making this up right?

Sounds more like that the bogus free apps you use don't support ATV11 yet

one of my Apps I have had and used for many years  =  Redhat IPTV will not work as needs the 12th December update

As I said bogus free apps. Red Hat is not an IPTV service, it is a freeloader

Buying a box from a no name China company that states the product is No Brand and gives you a 7 Day Warranty, is up to you.

And yet you provide links to AliExpress lol

The Kinhank update to ATV14 several months ago.

Yes, a company that I have actually used and from whom I received support when an adaptor failed. They sent another.

Why don't Kinhank sell the Kinhank G1 with Android 14? Could it be because of this?

The minimum hardware requirements for a device to run Android 14 are 16GB of storage and 2GB of RAM (for Android Go edition), though 4GB or more is recommended for a smooth experience.

Seems you still don't know how to use the internet, while pushing your agenda, JakeC

An d yes third party sellers are always cheaper than directly from the company

And your CREDIBLE Aliexpress seller doesn't have any products newer than Android 11. Tells a lot about his credibility.

The Kinhank has 4GB of DDR4 Ram and 32GB of storage. Your agenda fails once again.

While your TOX4 problem box has DDR3 RAM. DDR4 is THREE times faster than DDR3

Both the KM2 Plus and the KInhank G1 sell for less than 2300 baht, and both have DDR4 RAM which is 3x faster

So even 2GB DDR4 is faster than 4GB DDR3.

It was a question. Why are Kinhank themselves not selling their box with Android 14?

I recommend companies that I have used myself. Have you ever ordered from meide remoteMeide guanfang store ?

Furthermore, the product has no reviews. Not even one.

I don't think anyone here thinks I have an agenda. I'm not the one shouting about "bogus free apps" in order to push their own agenda.

If I have an agenda, it's to stop people wasting money on things they don't need. TOX4 was good enough for me.

No one is suggesting that more expensive devices won't be better. But you don't buy a Ferrari if you just want to run about town. Added to the fact that the original price is 3200 and your seller links seems dodgy.

I posted the link to Kinhank's own website where they show it has ATV 14

Yes I have bought several Kinhank and other brand boxes like the Homatics  R 4K plus from That company, and also contacted Kinhank with the serial number to receive the unlock code for the developer options. In more recent versions the unlock code isn't needed qny more.

The TOX4 is a problem box as is clearly explained in multiple posts on the 4pda forum, and sure you will find more about if you google.

The 4pda forum is very credible, as they have threads about every decent box, which sometimes stretch for tens of pages, with instructions, modifications and suggestions.

The Redhat IPTV app hasn't had an update since 2021, so it will probably not work on newer Android versions, and yes it is a bogus app.

The Kinhank can be bought every were for low 2000, even on Amazon. You consider Amazon also dubious.

And on Aliexpress

And yes Jake you have an agenda, and you are now back to my ignore list with your latest username

Thanks for the additional information. It makes everything so much more clear. Kinhank don't appear to have any in stock, according to your link. I agree that at 2.4k it's worth a look.

As for an agenda and your twisted attempts at name calling, one might ask why you have purchased quite so many Android boxes and appear quite so animated against normal users recommending what works for themselves and why.

I don't think questioning a link that states No Brand and has no reviews seems like an agenda. Now you have provided a reliable link, albeit with no stock, I can say that it's worthy of consideration. Does that seem like an agenda to you or could you be overly paranoid about something?

The Amazon link is from the official Kinhank store, and they have stock, so again some false claims from you. Why the official Kinhank store on Ali doesn't have stock I don't know.

Because I'm a professional seller for more than 10 years already. But did you notice that I didn't promote my business, and neither did I push 1 particular substandard box, because that would mean I had an agenda.

@ignis asked me for options in the 2500 baht range, and I gave him 4 suggestions.

Each of those boxes official certified devices, which mean they are build with quality brand name components, and will receive firmware and security updates, as well as bug fixes.

They are also guaranted not to run hot, and perform as expected, otherwise they will not receive certification.

I also provided him with links to credible sources where he can do his own research on about every box he fancies.

Not like a TOX4, which doesn't even has an official website or manufacturer, and is build in the Chinese sweatshops.

Those sweatshops buy the PCB and the schematic, and put any cheap Chinese components that are available to them on it. So in fact every TOX4 or any other of those cheap boxes is built in a different place with different components. If you have a good one is just a lucky draw.
