I believe they hooked up and she was a willing participant due to the considerable benefits and luxury lifestyle. Later, as her looks faded, the weight piled on and the sex work dried up, she saw the opportunity to extort him and did so quite successfully.

She got $15K to bang him. Sidney Sweeny isnt even worth that

Regardless, its a family matter. I got thrown out of the house once.

Paying an underage person for sex is illegal in the US and most other countries in the world.  Agreed, he denies it so he's not been convicted or charged.

I agree that stripping down the royal family is a good idea.  I truly hope that when William ascends to the throne, he will agree to abdicate and the government of the day can create republic.

Hmm, yes, Tony Blair for President, with (in a sort of grim inevitability) Peter Mandelson as Vice President...

Back to being plain old Rachel Ragland, but now too old for Deal Or No Deal or playing the BJ girl in 90210.

There’s that bile of yours again Jonny.

I'd prefer him as king to Charles or William.

Pull the plug on all of them. Time for a republic.

Yet here you are in Thailand with a much younger woman ............

Selling access to family position ......... I wish!

Shame to family ........ you're in Thailand, and everyone knows why.

Arrogant manner ......... have you ever read your own posts?

Would point out to several posters 17 is not underage in the UK and Europe.

Your Puritan US laws doesn't matter to the rest of the world.

How do you know who I am with?

I am in Thailand because it is where I am stationed for work. I was in Europe in July and August, and I was just in the USA, for work, so what?   If my posts appear arrogant to you, it is most likely because you are insecure.

Why reference Puritan US laws to me? I have made no reference to US laws. However since you raised the issue, the alleged activities with the young women occurred in the USA and in the US Virgin Islands. As such, the local laws in respect to human trafficking and sex with a minor apply., and the UK courts already accept that. The UK has similar laws in respect to the trafficking of humans for prostitution.

You have assumed that because the age of consent is 16 in England, that Andrew would have been in the clear. Wrong.

The Sexual Offences Act  (SOA) says different.   https://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2003/42/contents

The SOA recognises the continued vulnerability of 16 and 17year-olds in particular circumstances. One of the listed exceptions is the Sexual exploitation of children (including 16 and 17 year olds). Your attention is directed to  Section 49: controlling a child prostitute and Section 50: arranging or facilitating child prostitution. The SOA offences include offences of child sexual exploitation where a  ‘financial advantage’ is involved, and includes a list of things the victim/offender could receive.   This is why the  plaintiffs provided great detail on  the lavish presents, clothes and trips that the young girls allegedly received.

I have always taken the position that Andrew was innocent until proven guilty of a crime. However, the fact is that he has behaved reprehensibly and brought disgrace to the crown. He  has neglected his duties and obligations and betrayed his family. The man is utterly useless and serves no purpose other than take up space. He has no  current job skills.  Now, he will be a burden on Charles who will be stuck supporting this deadbeat.  Charles should have removed the Princess titles from Andrew's daughters as well  as they are just as useless.

Are over 65 year olds supposed to still have 'job skills'?

How many people that age are still working as commercial helicopter pilots?

They all are!

But I'd be happy to sit with him over drinks in a girly bar, or have a coffee with him up in sunny Chiang Mai. I don't think a night out with Charles or William would be much fun.

Harry and Megan might be OK for a morning coffee as well.

He used to be the handsome hero everyone looked at, not because he was good looking, but his image was heroic after the Falkland Island war.

Even the war was a good example of David against Goliat where David lost it was an prime example of power.

I feel sorry for Epsteins victims, not him, and you can say he is victim of the circumstances like many men who visited Thailand,  who think they can do and take whatever in the candy shop without any consequences which obviously it is for most. Very few have to meet any consequences for their action in Thailand with to young girls.

And who do you suggest would be a suitable president ? There would no doubt be plenty of contenders, all of which would be totally unsuitable.

I am no fan of the royals but the king or queens hereditary  position as head of state ensures that position never falls into the  hands of the likes of Blair or any other washed up ex government minister  or god forbid a wannabe reality TV star

That's how the UK selects its government and prime minister,   further proof of the failures of that system is hardly necessary.   We do not need a president
