  • Personally I hope it is targeted and so it should be. No need to drag all foreigners down because of the actions of a minority.

  • Yes we're all aware of your peculiar and obsessive hope to target Israelis.

Instead of fairly and ethically focusing on the behavior of SPECIFIC individual people.

No Israelis.

That is what they do for the other 190 countries.

But Israelis are a special case obviously.

They have been Chosen as the one country in the entire world not to enter by many Thai businesses and get a sign made in their honor.

Such places do not deserve our business.

I think they have made it very clear with their signs that they don’t want your business.

Without any doubt to YOU -- an individual obsessed with fomenting hatred of Israelis online and to add we're not fooled, your bias is about a lot more than tourist behavior.

Well there is the genocide but that is not the reason I have a dislike for the Israeli tourists.
You make it sound like I am the only one on earth with a problem with them when actually it is the majority.

People all around the world protest about their behavior weekly.

   There's actually 3 signs

The sign in Pai from that Turkish restaurant  , the sign from a hairdressers in Koh Tao and your sign from Koh Samui from 1999

You think it's OK to do that towards Israelis, but not to blacks.

What have black people done wrong?

And being black is an entire race.
Being Israeli is just a nationality that is currently on a rampage in Thailand.

It shows how you think though.

Jew hating trope.

You have no restraint.

I mean if someone has the guts and brass cojones to walk around with those hairstyles, there's basically nothing they wouldn't be capable of.

I'm not Israeli.

I suggest non Israelis to approach such businesses to say we won't pattonize bigoted businesses.

Ok,

1) why do Thai businesses post signs banning Israelis?

2) why was the Prime Minister of Thailand required to make a special trip to Pai.

3) Why was a senior Israeli official dragged into a meeting with the Thai Police.

4) why has the Royal Thai Embassy had to release a special announcement in Hebrew especially for Israelis?

Is it because they are a problem or is it “bigotry” as you call it.

And if it is bigotry why are there not signs up for the other 190 countries in the world.

Have a good think about it before you answer.

It would be at least hundreds. More likely thousands.

Plenty of other people have seen them all over Thailand for decades.

A group of business owners and island residents recently filed a petition with more than 200 signatures, submitted to the governor of the Surat Thani province, urging action against what they described as “Israeli activities causing distress to local communities.”

Tan, whose family has been operating a business in Koh Phangan, said problems with Israeli visitors are not new. But lately, they have become more noticeable, as more and more of them are visiting.

After months of enduring Israeli tourists snatching his restaurant’s tissues and condiments without permission, hogging seats without paying, and skipping lines, Bob reached his breaking point and decided to no longer welcome them. In October, his restaurant, Pun Pun Thai Food, a popular establishment on Koh Phangan, a holiday island in southern Thailand, put up a sign making it clear that Israelis were not allowed even past the threshold. “I hate the repeated behavior I’ve encountered from many Israeli tourists — it happens so often that it led me to put up a ‘No Israel’ sign at my restaurant,” Bob said.

“What I’ve experienced isn’t just from one person — it happens repeatedly.”
