Every Middlesex village and town…A gas station ambience? Why?

Featured Replies

Dear Folks,

With every year, we see more and more fluorescent street lamps, though too few lamplighters.

Why is this?

These days, one cannot even see the moon, not to mention, probably, the upcoming Super Beaver Moon, this November 15, 2025.

(((And, it's been a very long time since I've seen a beaver, please believe me.)))

So, what can be done to limit and reduce the EXPLOSION of outdoor lighting, which, one presumes, is costing us quite a bit, while providing a reduced quality of life.

Much of this weird lighting comes from street lamps, of course.

In truth, our suburban neighborhoods, most of them, are beginning to resemble GAS STATIONS, with brilliant fluorescent lighting, almost everywhere.

It’s now impossible to go outside one’s home without first donning sunglasses, or risk being BLINDED BY THE LIGHT.

No doubt, many people care about this catastrophe.  Yet, where are these people who do not speak out?

You know that what I say is true.  And, therefore, where are you?

Where are you when people around these parts need to speak out?

Will you wait until all of us are blinded by the light?

Probably, you will

Then, you will wonder why you feel so stressed, and can’t even get it up, anymore.

Regards,

Gamma

Note:  Where to go to find a bit of darkness in Thailand, without being blinded, at night?  Some faraway mountain?  Burma?

NOTE2:  Once again, Folks......and very unfortunately.....

There will be NO Beaver Moon for most of us, this year, November 5th.....so sorry to tell you.

It’s astonishing that anyone could spend this much time obsessing over street lamps, beavers, and missing Super Moons. Truly, it takes a rare kind of out-to-lunch mind to care about things that barely exist outside a smack-induced imagination. One has to wonder if Gamma actually enjoys this punishment, or if it’s just a self-imposed ritual of cataloging trivial nonsense as a means of trolling the backbone of the internet by flooding and bottlenecking it with needless words and images, fully aware that nobody in their right mind could possibly give even half a flying toss. Either way, it’s both impressive and utterly baffling.

When Life is boiled down to the very nitty-gritty, one learns that it's mostly about two things:

a. beavers

b. hairy clams

But, would you not, if you were still young, prefer to take your beaver for a walk under the Silvery Moon, rather than a stroll through a fluorescent-lit gas station?

You're not going to find any of that while chained up naked in your dungeon. Try getting out a bit... if you can...

I dont think he even knows the Super Moon falls on Loy Krathong in Thailand.

Both GG's trying to come off as intellectuals when both are complete morons.

i think gg holds a grudge against gas stations, as they are a symbol of co2 food for plants, which in a world wide cult is seen as evil

Likely used to hang around the toilets offering his services on the cheap but had no takers.

He blames the gas stations.

Even if he does get out he won't see anything, walking around at night wearing sunglasses!

I think he has been on a special course - after all, no one could be like that naturally!

The Beaver Moon will be rising soon....!!!!

'Tis the season, and the day, November 5th, this year.

I just wish there were not so much light-pollution, at the moment.

Also, too many clouds, this evening, to provide for excellent viewing.

Such a pity, really.
