Brian, your answer did not make the survey considering the condition he was in or should I say showing off his stuff.

  • The guy belongs in Pattaya with all the other freaky foreigners

  • Moral of the story: if you're three sheets to the wind and want to nip down to the shops without worrying about being breathalysed, drive naked.

  • Drink driving addressed? It would appear not.

I'm always amazed at the morons who show up in Thailand and then figure that they can do the exact things that would get them arrested and incarcerated in their own countries?
We're in Thailand - let's go shag on the beach.
We're in Thailand - let's go Full Monty on a motorbike.
We're in Thailand - let's go desecrate a place of worship.

Where do these freaks come from - because honestly - they reflect on all of us here.

Fortunately, most Thais do not tar all foreigners with the same brush. Nor, in my experience, do they carry much prejudice. What I see on the ground (in the regular area's of Thailand) is that poor behaviour is usually met with mild bemusement rather than hostility. The noisy flare-ups of ‘faux outrage’ that circulate on social media are not, in my view, an honest reflection of Thai sentiment.

Thais tend to judge us on our individual merits - how we behave, how we speak to people, how respectful we are, even how we present ourselves. And, frankly, I’m grateful for that. Day to day, they don’t allow the antics of a small and rather extreme minority to define their view of everyone else.

Tourist hotspots can be a little different, of course. Some locals become jaded - as they would anywhere burdened with heavy tourist footfall. But beyond those pockets, Thailand remains remarkably fair-minded in how it sees and treats outsiders.

All of that said: I'm completely bemused by such behavior - what drives a person to behave in such a manner ?- its outright odd...

.. its also a good point raised: Drinking ? no helmet ? (he may have had a licence, we don't know) - but no charges - which again, shows the tolerance of Thai's, but in this case, it enables such behavior.

Anal cavity??

Well folks, this is lunatic central and clearly has he mental issues... should be sectioned, as it's way disturbing that some random naked dude on a motorbike just cruises past as if everything is sweet and no problem. It's almost as bad as those nutjob dudes doing naked yoga on the beach in Phuket story the other week.

No wonder so many foreigners get a bad rap here with complete muppets like this around.

This guy probably told the cops not to worry as he's a part-time yogi that specializes in spirtual fullfilment through naked mysticism, or some such weirdo nonsense.

I drive with a helmet, fully clothed, and with a Thai Driver's license and can't drive 50 meters without being stopped. Some people have all the luck!

Are you driving around Phuket or Pattaya ??

In Bangkok, IF I'm stopped by the BiB - I flip open my lid and they are not interested in a foreigner, the same goes for driving a car...  In other area's such as Phuket and Pattaya it seems the BiB have a different mentality and target foreigners - quite likely because there's a pattern of rich-pickings / low hanging fruit where few are riding legally.

They let him off with a warning!!!:cheesy:

They were cached in his rectum, Papillon style.  At least the guy was fit.  The image of that obese Brit bathing in the fountain still haunts me.

If it'd been cold you could have changed the vowel in the last word.

'Hans Peter Zwetsloot, 55, was seen staggering along the pavement before pulling down his jeans and allegedly going to the toilet on a pavement in Sukhumvit Soi 4 in Bangkok on Thursday afternoon.

The Swede then climbed into a fountain surrounding a Buddhist spirit monument outside the S.M. Grande Residence Hotel.

Footage shows him bathing naked in the cool water before a security guard arrives to spray him with water in an attempt to usher him away. Police arrived shortly after to check on Hans.'

He was Swedish, not British. Hope it haunts you even more now.
