"Quiet Piggy!" How Billionaire POTUS Sees The Rest Of Us

Absolutely,  Catherine Lucey (Bloomberg) started shouting her Epstein follow-up over the top of both Trump and the other reporter—pretty aggressively, microphone thrust forward.

How President Trump put up with these reporters being so rude is amazing!!

She showed no respect, she deserved what she got!!

Absolutely correct I find these reporters very annoying, to the point that the hairs on the back of my neck start to stand up,  Its nearly always women too for some reason.

On a lighter note, last time I was back in the UK I noticed a female reporter on local TV trying to emulate this journalistic "style" when interviewing a local councillor about some minor local car parking  issue, to be honest I laughed at first but in reality it was not really amusing, just ridiculous

Kudos to President Trump for not accepting this rude approach and retaliating appropriately.

For me that's one of the positives of him not being a dyed in the wool career politician. He says it how it is using the normal straight to the point language of a businessman / property developer, that normal people understand  and not ( to the horror of the left)  the insipid droning's   beloved of the  political class, who can talk for hours yet say nothing. Sadly it appears many people can not handle a bit of straight talking, The same people who would be quite content to listen to the rubbish spewing out of the mouth of the likes of Kamala Harris and others of that ilk

Now taking offence on behalf of dead people, I guess I shouldn't be surprised.  How respectful would your comments be if Trump was assassinated ?

I doubt the woman in question is capable of knitting, If she was a big lass there would no doubt be some grunting involved when trying to touch her toes (for whatever reason)

Not correct , its very annoying to watch these gobby (mainly) women reporters who have no idea when to talk and when to shut up.  Are you by any chance  a fan of "the view"

Obviously you think women should be uneducated and kept barefoot and pregnant. Assuming you have a female partner(which I doubt), do you beat her if she talks back?

What's “the view“?

I've not seen her TBH.

In fact I only came on the thread, and post, so as to add a bit of sanity. It was becoming absurd.

I only ask one thing of a woman. Just one. If she can do that; I'll listen to her.

You pose a serious point. Well worth exploring.

Who was the first women's libber? It was 'Ugg' from way back.

Why was she the first? She promoted short hair for ladies (on the head - not down below).

Why? So the men would have to carry the ladies; rather than drag them back to the cave by the hair.

Why was that bad? It led to sweet talk and even romance.

Unfortunately, we do not.

Instead, we have a vindictive, bullying, man-child whose only goal is to destroy instead of build, disrupt instead of facilitate. He's proved himself adapt at these.

What????

Donald Trump is not a guest on Air Force One while serving as President—he's the host and commander-in-chief aboard it. The plane (or any U.S. Air Force aircraft carrying the POTUS) is essentially a mobile extension of the White House, under his direct authority.

This kind of pushy behavior has always been common for such reporters. Other Presidents have managed the situation without resorting to nastiness. But during this incident, not only did Trump insult a reporter for ABC, but said ABC should have its license taken away. Government  punishment of free speech, which is what Trump endorsed, is a clear violation of the First Amendment. That's a lot worse than any personal insults the President might have offered.

“Other presidents managed without nastiness”
Absolute garbage!!

Obama told a reporter to “get to the back of the line” and mocked CNBC’s Jim Rickards on live TV.

Biden called Peter Doocy a “stupid son of a bitch” on a hot mic, told a Fox reporter “you’re a lying dog-faced pony soldier,” and told another to “shut up” in 2021.

LBJ literally pulled his beagle up by the ears on camera and bragged about grabbing reporters by the nose.

Trump’s mouth is can be crude, but the idea that previous presidents were polite little angels is a fairy tale told by people who only started caring when the target had an (R) after his name.

Watch the full 45-second clip instead of the 4-second outrage cut. Catherine Lucey screamed over both Trump and another reporter who had the floor. She shoved her mic in his face and kept shouting after he said “quiet” the first time.
That’s not “asking a tough question.” That’s a grown woman throwing a tantrum because she didn’t get called on first.
Trump’s response was crude  — yes — but it was a split-second reaction to someone acting like a rude toddler. If a male reporter had done the exact same thing, he’d have gotten “quiet, <deleted>” or worse.

Re: ABC, Trump says this every time he’s mad at a network. He said it about NBC in 2017, CNN in 2018, and ABC again now.
Guess what actually happened the first hundred times? Nothing. The FCC has zero legal authority to pull a broadcast license over “bias” or “fake news.” Every First Amendment lawyer on earth has said the same thing for eight straight years.
It’s loud, it’s ugly, it’s bluster — but it is not a “clear violation of the First Amendment” because no violation has occurred. Words aren’t actions. If Brendan Carr actually tried to yank ABC’s licenses tomorrow, sue his ass into the ground. Until then, spare me the pearl-clutching meltdown over a temper tantrum.

"Obama told a reporter to “get to the back of the line” and mocked CNBC’s Jim Rickards on live TV."

Telling someone to get to the back of the line is your idea of an insult? That's what Trump should have said.

And I've searched high and low for any evidence of Obama mocking Jim Rickard and found nothing. Care to share your evidence with us?

LBJ made a comment about reporters in general. He didn't insult one personally.

Biden got caught out in a private conversation re Peter Doocy. He didn't say that to Doocy. Once again, you're reaching. And no, Biden  didn't call a Fox reporter "a lying dog faced pony soldier." You got that badly wrong

https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/2020-election/biden-jokingly-calls-new-hampshire-voter-lying-dog-faced-pony-n1133246

And no, Biden didn't tell a report to "shut up" in 2021

He was firm in his comment to "Be quiet". Shut up is rude. Be quiet is not.

And of course, this is far from the first time that Trump has insulted reporters during his second term.

You had to do an awful lot of deep digging to come up with a lot of fool's gold.

Trump during his first term is a lot different from Trump in his second term. And given the willingness of his administration to push limits of governmental control of  free speech,  who knows what liberties he's willing to overrule. For someone with malign intent, the FTC rules aren't nearly so rigid as you believe them to be. You can't see how Trump could have his people bend these rules?

  • Failure to serve the public interest: Broadcasters are expected to serve the "public interest, convenience, and necessity," which includes addressing the needs of their local community. While this is a broad standard and is rarely used, a severe and ongoing failure to do so, such as demonstrated discriminatory practices, could lead to revocation
  • Willful and repeated violations: This refers to a consistent pattern of breaking the law or the commission's rules, such as misrepresenting information or failing to follow technical and operational standards.

Classic leftard response,

No I do not think women should be uneducated, kept bare foot and pregnant unless of course it is normal in the culture they live in, but even then I don't particularly agree, then again I'm not a muslim and  its not my problem.

"Assuming you have a female partner(which I doubt),"    not sure about leftard, but it looks like that was written by a retard ,  you doubt your own assumption ?!!  How does that even work? exactly the sort of rubbish Kamala DEI Harris or any other leftist would come out with

For your information after 20+ years of marriage my Mrs knows only to well what she'll get if  she behaves badly , she is just a bit confused as to why its the same thing that  she gets when she behaves well. but either way  she's not that bothered in fact she tells me she likes it, especially from behind when having her hair pulled

Furthermore I am no fan of smart ar$e politicians who's only skill is in avoiding answering awkward questions, but, talking generally now , I find gobby disrespectful  journalists, male or female  endlessly repeating the same pointless "gotcha" trick questions whilst not even pausing for breath  to prevent the interviewee from answering at all  even more irritating

Good recovery !  "Heavier set"  "big boned"   classic , I love  understated insults with a good helping of sarcasm. so let's not forget "lovely personality"

That's the spirit , you could always start off by calling her a salad dodger until you feel comfortable and confident enough to go all in with  "pig"

I wouldn't recommend attempting to insult a Thai women based on her weight simply because they are just not that bothered.  Unlike our lard ar$ed females   who quite rightfully are a little embarrassed about their weight, I don't think Thai guys have an equivalent phrase to our classic "F4rt and give us a clue" so that might explain things

And lets not forget the symbolism of the wedding ring,

Back in the day a guy would seek out a woman in the forest , often tracking her for days , eventually he would indeed drag her back to his cave and tie her to a stake to prevent her from running away, he would provide the  basics required for survival  and mate with her at will,

After a while , she would stop struggling, and get to like it , so once she was tamed and  fully broken in, the rope was no longer required , or used, The wedding ring is simply there to remind her of it, lest she gets ideas above her station

The best clips are when they were under threat of being taken off air, and were forced by the network to include commentary and comments from right-wing critic and commentator Damon Imani    he rips them apart

Ti the person who gave me the thumbs down,

I just did a simple internet search for how many persons are in the electoral college  538, and at least 270 MUST vote in favour of the new president.

There were 174 million people registered as available to vote in the USA in 2024 but if at least 271 persons in the electoral college vote for person A instead of person B, then effectively person A becomes the president, no matter if person B got more votes than person A. That makes a complete mockery on the popular vote. Effectively only 271 people need to vote.

Details and whether something is true or not are not important  for the leftists when it comes to criticising Trump  Just as long as the gist of the story follows the well worn narrative it doesn't matter at all. Nobody will check their claims and there will be soon another story hot off the rumour mill

Your entire post is a masterclass in bad-faith hair-splitting and outright falsehoods.

Obama and Neil Munro (2012)
Obama didn’t just say “please wait your turn.” He sneered, “The next time I prefer you let me finish my remarks before you ask a question,” then added the infamous line: “I didn’t ask for an editorial.” It was dripping with contempt. Video is still on YouTube. You pretending it was polite is gaslighting.

Obama mocking Jim Rickards
You “searched high and low” and found nothing because you wanted to find nothing. Obama went on national television in 2015 and literally did a mocking voice imitating CNBC economic commentators (Rickards being one of the loudest at the time), saying, “Their argument is, ‘Things are terrible, gas is two dollars a gallon!’” while laughing in their faces. It was the exact same week Rickards had been on CNBC calling Obama’s economic policies “delusional.” Stop lying.

LBJ
Spare us the “he was only talking about reporters in general” cope. LBJ told individual White House correspondents to their faces they were “chicken-<deleted>” and once ordered the Secret Service to physically block a specific reporter from boarding Air Force One because he didn’t like his coverage. General or personal—doesn’t matter. It was thuggish.

Biden and Peter Doocy
“Private conversation” — are you serious? The whole world heard Biden call Doocy a “stupid son of a bitch” on a hot mic that was broadcasting live to millions. He didn’t whisper it in a closet. He said it knowing the mic was live, then tried to walk it back. That’s not “private,” that’s getting caught.

“Lying dog-faced pony soldier”
You’re technically right it wasn’t originally aimed at a reporter… but Biden recycled the exact same insult in 2022 to a reporter who asked about his Ukraine predictions. He smirked and said, “You’re a lying dog-faced pony soldier” on camera.

Biden telling reporters to “shut up”
May 18, 2023, G7 summit in Hiroshima. Crystal-clear audio: reporter asks about the debt ceiling, Biden snaps “Shut up!” then mutters “No, no, no… let’s get it straight.” It’s on every major network’s footage. You’re not debating tone—you’re denying reality.

Trump in his second term is “far worse”
Bull<deleted>. Trump has taken more press questions in the first three weeks of his second term than Biden did in the entire last year of his presidency. Biden hid behind pre-selected reporters and cue cards. Trump yells, calls people names, and then stands there for 45 minutes taking follow-ups. That’s not suppression—that’s the opposite.

The FCC “threat”
You’re fear-mongering with decades-old boilerplate that has never once been used to revoke a major broadcast license for political speech. Never.

Not under FDR, not under Nixon, not ever. Meanwhile, the Biden administration was caught red-handed coercing Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube to censor the New York Post’s Hunter Biden laptop story (Missouri v. Biden evidence). That was actual government censorship. Trump’s loud tweets aren’t.

You didn’t “catch” anyone. You got exposed cherry-picking, misrepresenting, and flat-out inventing distinctions that collapse under five seconds of honest scrutiny.
