Two Miss Universe Judges Step Down Over Integrity Concerns Days Before Bangkok Finale

Two jury members of the Miss Universe 2025 competition resigned just days ahead of the Bangkok final, citing serious transparency issues. Lebanese-French composer Omar Harfouch accused the organisers of using a “secret” preliminary panel to pick finalists, outside the official judging process. Shortly thereafter, former French footballer Claude Makélélé also quit, officially for “personal reasons,” though the timing has drawn scrutiny. The pageant organisers denied wrongdoing, stating all evaluations followed established protocols and the separate programme referenced was not tied to the main competition.
