The constitution has served the USA well for about 250 years.

Yet the founders like all men had limits as to what they could imagine,

    The US Constitution lays out lots of checks and balances and limitations on power but contains no mechanisms for enforcement.  The Trump administration can operate outside the limits of the Constitution because it contains no consequences for those who choose to ignore it.
