For the first time ever, I have tried out the HEATING function on my a/c's It seems to work at 28 degrees.

Hadn't even thought of that! Must try it (though at night I have my b/f).

Here in south Surin it's lovely today because no wind. So 18C is fine. Not so fine the previous 2 weeks or so with gale-force winds.

We're heading to Bangers next week for a few days, where it's almost invariably 2 or 3 or 4 degrees warmer at any time of the day or night than it is here.

If you want to make your own pies , now is the time. Can't make good pastry when its hot but now that the kitchen is down to 18C , I'm busy filling up the freezer with pies.

They look fantastic. What's in them?

there is a work around, live near the sea, that will keep the temperature within 28-34 degree Celsius all year around.

if that fails, blame climate change

First batch pork carrots and potatoes.  Second batch chicken and mushroom.  The fillings are tasty and easy to make. The pastry is always tricky unless everything is cold enough.

Any particular reason why you cooked them all rather than freezing some uncooked? Do you freeze some after cooking?

They all go in the freezer after baking ( once cooled down ) That way I have a lot of ' ready meals ' easy to microwave on days when I am too lazy to cook.

Probably because you have it set on a lower temperature than it is outside. You cannot cool 16 degree air DOWN to 25!

Can you imagine putting your heating on in UK at 28, you'd sweat your bo11ocks off. And your energy bill would kill you.

The thermostat is set at 16 degrees C.

Yet, the compressor still won't turn over.
